“This was my first time using 99 Haus Balloons for my daughter's 2nd birthday party and they went above and beyond!! Absolutely worth every penny and will be a repeat customer for all my balloon needs! Fabulous service, the product looked amazing and my daughter was in love with the balloons. Call in orders should be simple but the cashier was very spacey and didn't want to charge me for what all I ordered thank God for the older cooks that kept telling her what I ordered!! And for a pick up it took awhile to just pick it up. Won't be going for a while”

“came upon this place when we arrived at the Ronald Mc Donald house in Hines. we were met by Joana who made us feel so welcome and we felt right at home. we had to go back before we went home to meet her again. “A longtime gem. Under newer ownership, the food is just as good as the original. Check out the freezer filled with an assortment of their amazing soups! Service isn't the fastest, but food is prepared as ordered. Decor is fun (Star Trek!), although starting to show its age (the poster of Mr Spock in the ladies room is getting ragged). Parking is a bear, many of the nearby spots must be paid online.”

This place gave me 'Cheers' vibes (loved the banter between the patrons and the proprietor) we got the BLT which was super tasty. Non-pretentious, good food-drinks + relaxed ambiance…just what we were searching for!”

“Petra Falafel is my favorite Middle Eastern restaurant in the area. Their chicken shawarma platter is a masterpiece, and the garlic, jalapeno, and habanero sauces are very tasty, be sure to order extras! Their portions are generous, often leaving me with leftovers for at least another full meal. The staff is always friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. We always order for pick up, but they do have a dining area and I believe they are also BYOB. Next time you are craving falafel, baba ghanoush or shawarma give Petra Falafel a try - you will not be disappointed!”

“Love this place the people that work are so nice and happy. It’s stocked really well to I enjoy going there for shopping it’s not the traditional grocery store but it’s has a nice selection of food. The snacks and frozen food from around the world make it easier to be adventurous with my meals.

“This is my fav Chinese food spot around town. Their tofu is cooked well and everything always tastes great. Service is pretty quick too. I think most people order takeout but dining in is pretty chill too. Also, their prices are pretty reasonable. A lot of food that I usually end up taking home.”

“Don't let the overall look of this place fool you It might seem like an out of place small almost empty restaurant right next to the sidewalk, But the food is delicious, Very friendly staff of 2 at the moment. It was my First time going I had a hot dog meal with fries and a drink Hot dog was delicious. Fries surprised me VERY delicious home made fries, food was good The price was great. Service was very fast in and out within about a minute well worth a stop, I am looking forward to trying out some of their other menu items 🤤 my one and only complaint if I had one is that there is no porking available for them at the moment 😭”

Prior to this, my husband and I who live in Oak Park, have only frequented The Brown Cow for ice cream and shakes but now we will absolutely be coming here for cakes for special events!!!”

“We have been wanting to try this place for a long time and finally made our way there. It's big and bright inside with lots of Mexican flare. The service was friendly and inviting and the food was so tasty. We had nachos with chicken and bowl with steak. The servings are big so come hungry. I'm not a huge beer drinker but we really enjoyed the mango and mint seltzers. We even bought some to take home. So whether you're catching a game or just hanging with friends /family, this is an excellent choice to drink and eat!”

“Shanahan's is one of my favorite places in Forest Park, I moved from Forest Park a few years ago but I still go to Shanahan's every chance I get. Their food is always excellent and they have the best staff on the street, they always remember my name and my order. I will give them more than 5 stars if I could!!”

“My mom had a flat tire and we were in our way to fix it but we had to stop in the parking lot in dunkin we tried calling a tow truck nobody picking up so we went inside the dunkin’ and really nice and amazing person asked if our tire is flat and she offered to ask dominos to get the jack but we didn’t no how to so these to amazing pepole helped change the tire”

“I stumbled across Tacabron on my way home from downtown Forest Park. It looked interesting but I just had dinner so it made my want to go list. Fast forward a couple of months and my brother and I decided to give it a try. I had fish tacos and my brother got a steak burrito. The fish tacos were grilled tilapia with a hint of lime. They were so good I ordered a second order to take home and share with the husband. I have been back a few times since trying new things off the menu. Tonight our server greeted our table with chips and salsa; the salsa was so tasty we ordered some to go home. We had a steak quesadilla to share. The steak was tender and substantial. It was actual steak cooked medium and I think it was Oaxaca cheese, I highly recommend. I also had the enchilada dinner, this really brought me back to my trips to Mexico. I chose the green salsa as my stomach can not take spicy. You have a choice of steak, chicken, cheese, or Veggie ( grilled squash). I chose one of each steak, chicken, and Veggie. My dining friends both had burritoes chicken and the other asked if they could do the tilapia in a burritoes and they dud. Both were excellent. The interior is casual and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is BYOB. I still have much of their menu to explore.”
