“This is our favorite restaurant in the neighborhood, hands down. We've been regulars since they opened, and we're always leaving happy and satisfied. The owner is consistently very welcoming and genuinely glad to see us return. My husband is known for ordering his favorite dish, pork chop, and I for constantly asking for the Chef's cheesecake, which is usually not on the menu. I'm excited to hear about their new uptown location. Congratulations!”

So many delicious options that I just keep coming back. They also have a modern, but warm atmosphere that is delightful. This place is clearly a hidden gem and a must try!”

“This was my first time using 99 Haus Balloons for my daughter's 2nd birthday party and they went above and beyond!! Absolutely worth every penny and will be a repeat customer for all my balloon needs! Fabulous service, the product looked amazing and my daughter was in love with the balloons. “Intergalatic themed cafe serving sandwiches and soups. Great variety of soups (frozen and ready to serve). Try the resurrection chicken soup which is loaded with flavor and spicy (because of the jalapenos). The rueben sandwich was good.

I plan to return try out other sandwiches and soups. Prices were fair relative to portion size.

Service was good, but prepared to wait as nothing was pre-made.”

“I came from San Francisco to visit a friend and was interested in trying out a cozy neighborhood pub. This place gave me 'Cheers' vibes (loved the banter between the patrons and the proprietor) we got the BLT which was super tasty. Non-pretentious, good food-drinks + relaxed ambiance…just what we were searching for!”

“Petra Falafel is my favorite Middle Eastern restaurant in the area. Their chicken shawarma platter is a masterpiece, and the garlic, jalapeno, and habanero sauces are very tasty, be sure to order extras! Their portions are generous, often leaving me with leftovers for at least another full meal. The staff is always friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. We always order for pick up, but they do have a dining area and I believe they are also BYOB. Next time you are craving falafel, baba ghanoush or shawarma give Petra Falafel a try - you will not be disappointed!”

“came upon this place when we arrived at the Ronald Mc Donald house in Hines. we were met by Joana who made us feel so welcome and we felt right at home. we had to go back before we went home to meet her again. Kids adore this place as do we. definitely worth a trip, nice coffee too. well done Joana xx we will miss you but stay in touch”

“Sub-tender use to be the place for a great sub. I've ordered here for a party years ago. Now don't get me wrong, the subs are delicious but id you get more then 3 things slices of meat that's a good day. I know the economy if rough but dang. You better like bread because that's all you really getting $7. I get the turkey combo for 14.00 with tax because I can fill up on the fries 🍟 and soda.”

“This is my fav Chinese food spot around town. Their tofu is cooked well and everything always tastes great. Service is pretty quick too. I think most people order takeout but dining in is pretty chill too. Also, their prices are pretty reasonable. A lot of food that I usually end up taking home.”

“Don't let the overall look of this place fool you It might seem like an out of place small almost empty restaurant right next to the sidewalk, But the food is delicious, Very friendly staff of 2 at the moment. It was my First time going I had a hot dog meal with fries and a drink Hot dog was delicious. Fries surprised me VERY delicious home made fries, food was good The price was great. Service was very fast in and out within about a minute well worth a stop, I am looking forward to trying out some of their other menu items 🤤 my one and only complaint if I had one is that there is no porking available for them at the moment 😭”

“My adorable little niece turned 3 over the weekend and she could not get over her Barbie cake made by you guys!! Aside from the cake completely nailing the Barbie theme, it also tasted amazing!! Prior to this, my husband and I who live in Oak Park, have only frequented The Brown Cow for ice cream and shakes but now we will absolutely be coming here for cakes for special events!!!”

“Love this place the people that work are so nice and happy. It’s stocked really well to I enjoy going there for shopping it’s not the traditional grocery store but it’s has a nice selection of food. The snacks and frozen food from around the world make it easier to be adventurous with my meals.

“Shanahan's is one of my favorite places in Forest Park, I moved from Forest Park a few years ago but I still go to Shanahan's every chance I get. Their food is always excellent and they have the best staff on the street, they always remember my name and my order. I will give them more than 5 stars if I could!!”
