“Visiting for my first time I was pleasantly surprised by the savory sauce soaking Laura's homemade Lasagna. The Ricotta and Mozzarella cheeses were of a fabulous blend. And for those who don't care for Ricotta cheese you're missing something. This is the way Lasagna should be crafted. Thank you to the entire staff. I will certainly be coming back.”

“Vicki goes out of her way to help people! Her food is amazing! I lost all the stuff in one of my chest freezers this last week. (Thank God, it was my veggie and garden one and not the meat one). I called Vicki's and asked if she had any beets still for sale. She sold me 7 qt. bags out of her personal freezer! Not many businesses would do that, or go out of their way to help someone. Bless you Miss Vicki. You need to try her bake goods or catered food. It's delicious!”

“Jen’s bread is the best you will find. I have bought her bread probably over 50 times at this point. The bread has never disappointed me or my family or my friends. The service is always perfection. If you can’t get to the store they deliver other places which is awesome and incredibly convenient if you can’t get to Mount Morris. Thank you Jen for making such an incredible product for my family. “Probably the best bar in all of Ogle county. Was created and welcomed when we walked in the door. The owner visited with us and bought us a drink. They are a great asset to their community as they work hard raising funds for the local school system. Will be back for sure.”

“My husband is a 22-year veteran of the Marine Corps, we were on a ride with our motorcycle club today and stopped in at chesty peas. The owner went above and beyond to see to it that everybody was taken care of. He had some great stories and some wonderful memorabilia. What a wonderful place this was. It's a great hideaway in Polo Illinois, if you ever get a chance to go through there, this is a must stop.”

“I like it when I get to leave a good review and Asia Cafe in Freeport deserves it. I've been to all the Chinese food places in Freeport and none compete with the food from here. I have been to this establishment eight times now and even the times where it wasn't thier top service it was still delicious food. The place is always busy around dinner rush (which should be a good sign) and the prices for what you are getting are fair. My go to is the chicken fried rice but I have also had the orange chicken and the general Tso and it's not blow your mind cuisine but for the area it really hits the Chinese food craving spot. My only critique would be on the crab Rangoons. They seem really phoned in. I would be willing to pay more for a higher quality supplier of those, but what's currently offered is a little disappointing. Everything else I've tried has been worth the money and I plan on going many more times in the future. Also consider adding a fortune cookie with the food please. ?”

“Nice breakfast. Good diner food. Loved the sausage links. Very impressed with the man who seems to be doing everything except cooking. There was no one else helping him. Nice to also see all the customers (at least 5 other tables) realizing that too, and being just lovely and patient. Good food for a good value.”
