Freddy's Reviews
Drove past a lot of places between new Lenox and Frankfort to try this place. Get inside, there’s other customers, we get ready to sit, and the guy at the counter says carry out only. Mind you I’m with a 94 yr old guy so this wasn’t an easy outing. Wth. Put a sign on the door. And tell people the manager has changed service style as people walk in. And lock them he door. That’s why you have drive up
what a dump , went there with my family tonight around 9pm cops were just pulling away because of a altercation between employees. we waited 20 minutes for are food and decided between the swearing of the workers and the filthy restaurant it was time to get our money back and leave as the cops were coming back into buildings for another problem. who ever owns this place should be embarrassed. stay away
I don’t understand the bad reviews. The burgers were killer, fries were bomb, the sauce…
The only thing wrong with this place is they serve Pepsi and not coke
Very solid eats
Menu
Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers offers good food and frozen custard. The restaurant has a convenient drive-thru and friendly staff. The shoestring fries and custard are particularly praised, even surpassing Culver's in quality. The burgers are delicious and big, and the fries are crispy with the right amount of salt. Some burgers may be a bit greasy, and the mustard is notable on Chicago dogs, with ketchup on burgers. The shakes and custards/ice cream are a plus. The service at this location is decent, sometimes great, and the servers help with a smile. The restaurant's atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and reminds one of a steak and shake decor. Skip the regular fry sauce and go for the jalapeño fry sauce for more flavor. Overall, Freddy's is a great place to visit, offering an experience beyond just good food.
