“I go to this location quiet often, but I was extremely disappointed as well as angry with what I saw today at this location. (3/9/25 at 5:35pm) The 3 customers that were ahead of me placed their orders were first timers I found out. The young lady that was fixing their smoothies dropped a cup on the floor, picked the cup up from the floor then sat the cup to the side. As she finished one smoothie she pulled a fresh cup, then the 2nd smoothie she proceeded to pour it in the cup that she picked up off the floor. I told the young lady that took my order, so she then pulled the young to the side to tell her that I saw what she did then she looks at me and says "I'm Sorry" (I said to her): What do mean you are sorry, why would you do that, and why are you giving that to her, you need to remake that smoothie ...and guess what she did not. I'm just want to make people aware: Watch the people that prepare your sandwiches/smoothies or anything of that sort. It's not their stuff, they're not paying for it so they don't care. That was just the epitome of nasty and extremely unsanitary. She didn't have on a Tropical Cafe shirt, she had on a gray shirt, she may have been new, I'm not sure but we need to learn to do better when working with the public. Don't do things to people that you don't want done to you!!!!! FYI...the name on the ticket was: Shelia G“

“Came in with a friend who had never had boba before. The owner(?) recommended her a flavor and offered to make her a different kind if she didn't like it. She had brown sugar, I had taro, and my wife had a caramel latte boba. All were delicious! We also got the mini pancake bites which were fantastic. The owner(?) was super nice and gave us free water as well. If it wasn't a 40 minute drive for us we would be here all the time!“

Parking: The restaurant is located inside the mall next to the Seafood City grocery store. Huge parking lot- never an issue finding a space
Kid-friendliness: My kids (14 and 9) have been eating with us here for a couple of years- they’re always excited to go. The Vietnamese travel/cooking shows they have on the background tv are reaal interesring and fun to watch“

“I have been to Pantera Superfoods on multiple occasions for smoothie bowls. Their bowls are delicious and the owner is so kind. I am so excited to have this place in Edgebrook. I used to drive to Bucktown for smoothie bowls. Great option on the NW side for a healthy lunch.“

“I went here with my boyfriend yesterday and my server did an amazing job. Her name was Sarah B, bowls are absolutely delicious, beautifully made, good amount of extra Nutella, the açaí is a nice frozen smoothly flavor, the smoothie I had was fresh and filled with the right quantity and nicely blended. I definitely recommend this place, it was enjoyable to eat and they know how to make their food!❤️“

“Every time I go into the York location, my day is instantly brightened. The staff here are amazing. Always super friendly, kind , and welcoming. I have had nothing but positive great experiences here, mainly due to the workers. Faby and Carmen are truly the best and never fail to make my day! The service is just as good as the food!!“

“About 2 years ago, I re-established my health journey. After starting our family, we fell into many poor nutritional habits. Paying attention to macros and the food choices was hard….until the wonderful team at Steel Fitness Cafe helped realign us! Our biggest issue with healthier eating….flavor and options. At Steel Fitness Cafe, those worries completely dissolved! Want a great tasting protein shake that is ENJOYABLE??? Well then you are going in luck with the plethora of options here! Caramel Waffle Cone and Cinnamon Toast Crunch are two of my favorites! Need a meal that will fill you up AND make you feel good? They have those too! I helped myself to the Steak and Eggs! When Chef travels, he brings some of that cuisine back home for new meals! Have a sweet tooth but hate the fact that your favorite sweet treats contribute to being unhealthy? Well, their protein donuts WILL hit the spot. You won’t believe the macros until you try it! Here is the elevator pitch……JUST GO AND TRY THEIR STUFF! You WILL NOT regret it!“

But if I buy an Acai bowl from Tropical Smoothie Cafe and leave the room for a few minutes, my kids will make it disappear.
Ezekiel makes a great bowl at TSC.
The staff is knowledgeable. The bathrooms and tables are clean. And the menu is. Lear and way to follow.
TSC is a staple for our family when we want to eat out.“

“Having recently moved near the area, I finally decided to check this place out. I absolutely love trying new boba shops, and I am thrilled that this one is so close by. Great atmosphere with cute decorations and plenty of seating. There was only one worker behind the counter at the time who greeted me as soon as I walked in. She was so sweet and made my drink very quickly.
As for the boba itself… it’s great! I got a brown sugar boba milk tea which I was glad to know was non-dairy (despite my love for all things dairy, I am lactose-intolerant. Booooo). The milk tea itself was great. For a brown sugar drink, it wasn’t too sweet at all, which I liked as I usually get my drinks with less sweetness. However, the tapioca was a little hard, a result of it either sitting out for too long or being chilled. I’m sure it would’ve been a thousand percent better with the tapioca’s real chewy texture, but I suppose I can’t complain since I walked in on a slow Wednesday afternoon.
Great shop overall, and I surely will be a regular!

“My wife, myself, and 2 young kids have been visiting Level Up Cafe & Lounge since they opened. The owners Shawn and Victoria do a great job. The staff is very friendly, they have delicious refreshing protein shakes, smoothies, food, and adult beverages. We absolutely love the atmosphere and free arcade with purchase. There are always young children there whom our kids are always playing with. It’s a great social, playful, and friendly place to be. We highly recommend Cafe Level Up & Lounge for a fun night out!!“

“Food was very good. I ended up with chilaquiles (with chicken breast) and my friend got the pupusas and dobladas. Really solid, and I appreciate the subtle differences in flavors between the Guatamalan dishes and standard Mexican fare. However, only 4/5 because ordering (in English) was difficult. I tried to get grilled skirt steak and a green chicken enchilada (as a single item, listed that way on the menu) but what was originally brought out was 3 green chicken enchiladas. I explained the issue and thought it was clear but ended up getting brought the chilaquiles. My friend got his pupusas but the dobladas was not brought and had to be ordered again. The food was delicious and I'm not a picky eater so this wasn't a huge deal, but others that need to order a specific thing, in English, may have trouble. I will be back though, and I will brush up on my Spanish.“

“My husband and I stopped here on a whim after leaving the airport and I must say the food was amazing! We were greeted with a smile and they were very patient, kind, and helpful as I ordered in Spanish. (The mango Agua Fresca is a must try!) We enjoyed the chips and salsa as well as their outstanding asada tacos. They were happy to ask how we liked everything and of course we let them know it was so good. So happy to have found an authentic taco spot with so many great options. We vowed to make dining at Gelatinas a regular trip :)

The process is simple:
1) Select any combo of the 10 yogurt flavors
2) Select from a collection of toppings
3) Get your cup weighed and pay
The lobby can seat about 20 including high top chairs on a busy day.
The atmosphere is clean and the crowd is nice.
There is limited street parking. Otherwise, you could park in the parking garage about 1 block behind the building.“

“My daughter has been craving to try this place, so we did today! The 87th Street location, not their Milwaukee one. 87th, don't have their Google review page up yet. That's why I'm putting it on this one. The place inside was clean and they were busy when we went in! We order "The B Combo," and it came with 2 corn dogs, an order of Goblins fries, and 2 lemonades for $17.99. We also ordered some garlic parmesan wings that came with fries ?. We sat in the restaurant, and my daughter did her review! I myself will definitely go back to try some other styles and flavors of the dogs! I'll give them a 10 out of 10! The lemonade was delicious. I grabbed a 2nd one before leaving.Very kid friendly! Our meal came out to about $30, but it's cheaper depending on what you get. I'll post pictures and videos! I told yall I would do better, and I did ☺️?
