“I will admit I was unfamiliar with Cannova's before our visit and was simply trying to grab a quick dinner on our way through town, but was very pleasantly surprised by the experience. The dining room was lively even on a weeknight, the atmosphere was very friendly and the hostess was kind enough to compliment our outfits. A man was skillfully playing piano at an appropriate volume, and the waitress was helpful in explaining the menu and recommending a wine pairing, which was spot on. Our meal was truly delicious, simple, authentic, and well seasoned. I got the traditional marinara spaghetti, my mother got the salmon special - both were a delight and well portioned. I really can't overstate how nice the experience was, I really recommend this place because I think it's something rare and special in the area.
