“Awesome craft distillery with great cocktails and spirits!

We try to stop in at smaller distilleries whenever travelling and am glad we found Blaum Bros. They have a nice open bar area with comfortable couches and chairs. A good sized cocktail and spirits menu to pick from. The tour was fun and informative and it is always interesting to see how each distillery produces its whiskey. Lots of merch and bottles to choose from in the store as well. Would definitely come back if in Galena again.“

“Very nice experience. We had drinks at the bar before dinner, and it was very nice. The dining room (I think there are actually 2 rooms) is very warm and appealing. We found the server, Samantha, to be top notch. The food itself was good—not outstanding, but good. The steaks were choice, not prime, which is a bit of an issue. So we avoided the steaks and got the pork chop and ribs. Both were very good. Crab cake appetizer was also solid. Not the best meal you’ll ever have, but an overall solid experience.“

“No frills here, no main street, located near Culver’s, just a good breakfast stop with reasonable prices. We used to come here a lot as a family, until my wife became gluten-free, and then the visits stopped. Because they had very little as far as gluten-free options. I was in town alone, so I was able to have breakfast. I really enjoyed French toast, bacon, hot chocolate, all delicious. Sounds like there’s a new general manager, I spoke to her a little bit about possibly getting some gluten-free bread in stock and offering French toast, etc. for gluten-free options. Hopefully at some point they add the option.“

“This place is worth the drive. Finding other area restaurants closed on Mondays, we came here for an early dinner. Our table was next to the window with a great view of the Mississippi. Service was good and wait time was decent. We had good service and good food at a reasonable price. The chicken noodle soup was very good. I’m not a fan of onion rings, but we ordered them and they didn’t disappoint. Barbecue chicken wings were on par with most restaurants. Google lists this restaurant as Sunset Grille, but we ate in the section called “The Summit” next door on the property. Menu is reportedly the same.“

“It was NYe, wasn't very crowded, but service was very slow. By the time my wife's meal was finally brought out I was already done with my meal, and all she ordered was chicken. We were told another server took her order to a different table, drink refills were very slow as well, we wanted to stay longer, but wasn't worth the wait“

“So cute! Our waiter has been with the restaurant for years. He was very funny and the service was top notch.
