“Friendly small town atmosphere with great food. As Judy says, “We have the best pancakes”.”
“On a damp, chilly night like tonight, a hot bowl Bi Bim Bop really hits the spot. I love the Barley Tea and all the small appetizers that accompany the main course. I don't live nearby, so I don't get to stop by very often, but whenever I do, I feel very welcomed at Koreana.”
“Just got the catfish fillets and baked potato today. It was the best catfish I've had for a long time. Great meal !”
“Pickle Fest was delicious! The bar has great food, great staff and a great atmosphere!! We will be back!! 🥒 🥒”
“We ate here for the first time before a show at the Orpheum, which is just around the corner. The food was excellent, and we were happy to see so many gluten free options. I had the meatloaf sandwich and I would have it again without hesitation. Fine crepe desserts, too. Highly recommended.”

“The best Mexican Restaurant in town! Staff is very nice and friendly! They treat you like family! Very clean and spacious atmosphere with a comforting feel to it.
Parking: The parking lot is located in front of the restaurant and there is space in the back as well.
Kid-friendliness: Staff is friendly and patient even with kids! You can adjust meals with a good amount of ease.”
“Every. Single. Time. Guacamole Grill delivers! While we are often disappointed elsewhere, and spending money on taking the family out nowadays is seriously no joke, it is so fantastic to have a place with consistently great food, great service, and great environment. Just feels like home cooking and they welcome you like family. I’m thankful for our Galesburg community and so grateful we have great Mexican food available to us for our celebrations! 🥰 happy Mother’s Day everyone!!”
“This was a clean and nice Applebee's. Typical decor. Our waitress was fantastic. The food was decent. I got the all you can eat and tried rickets but mine did not have much meat. My son's rib let's were much more meaty. I did do the battered shrimp and it was excellent. The coleslaw was not very good to me. My wife got the grilled salmon and said it was very good also.”
“Cherry Street offers tasty locally-crafted beers, brewed onsite, that appeal to a variety of palates. Great food, quick service, pleasant atmosphere, and attentive bartenders and servers. Highly recommend if you find yourself in or near Galesburg.”

“First timer, just passing through on our way back to St. Louis. Nice flavor selection. I got a medium blended Enderman (Reese's peanut butter, mocha, and caramel). The medium was much larger than I anticipated, so a lot of bang for your buck. If we are ever in the area again, we'll definitely be coming back! Super tasty! 😋”
“I am allergic to gluten, dairy, and eggs. It’s insane I can come here and pick anything in the place. I love it and so does my son (no allergies). Everything we’ve tried has been amazing. My current favorite is maple cookie crunch! I am hopeful that a graham cracker flavored treat will be made sometime! 10/10 recommend.”
“THIS is a Truck Stop!! I got the "Original Cheese Steak" 6" sub & it was perfect, so were their home style French fries! Their drinks are fresh made tasting like real lemonade & go well will subs! For the rest of you that don't come & choose to stay at the Love's down the road - Sa la vie!”
“To dine at the Iron Spike Brewery & Grill is to step into a sanctuary of reinvention, where the bones of Galesburg’s original firehouse now cradle the clink of pint glasses and the sizzle of ambition. The air hums with the ghost of old alarms, yet the space is alive with the alchemy of malt and meat, a testament to the town’s ability to honor its past while pouring a bold future. But does this repurposed relic deliver a meal as stirring as its story? I began with the Flat Back IPA, a brew that strides confidently into the glass, its golden haze promising citrus and pine. It delivers a crisp, zesty bite, with notes of grapefruit and a subtle hoppy backbone that lingers just long enough to intrigue. It is not a beer to rewrite the annals of brewing, but it is a faithful steed, sturdy and reliable. Paired with the pulled pork nachos, it finds its purpose. The nachos are a riot of texture and flavor—crisp tortilla chips groan under a lavish pile of smoky, succulent pork, kissed by a barbecue sauce that teeters between sweet and tangy. A blanket of melted cheese anchors the dish, while jalapeños spark like embers, adding just enough heat to keep things lively. It’s a dish that knows its audience: unapologetically bold, yet comforting, like a fireman’s tale told over a cold one. My companions, ever adventurous, opted for the chicken sticks with a side of gravy—a humble offering that could easily falter in lesser hands. The chicken, encased in a golden, crunchy breading, was tender and moist, though the seasoning leaned heavily on salt, leaving little room for subtlety. The gravy, however, was a quiet triumph: silken, savory, with a faint whisper of thyme that elevated the dish from mere bar fare to something approaching memorable. It’s the kind of sidekick that doesn’t steal the show but earns its keep. The pulled pork flatbread, chosen by another companion, aimed higher. Its thin, charred crust—reminiscent of a hearth long cooled—supported a generous layer of pork, sweet caramelized onions, and a sharp cheddar that cut through the richness like a siren through the night. A drizzle of barbecue sauce bound it all together, though a touch more acidity would have lifted it from very good to unforgettable. It is a dish that flirts with refinement but remains proudly tethered to its bar-and-grill roots. The Iron Spike Brewery & Grill is a place where history and hunger collide, where the weight of Galesburg’s past is matched by the warmth of its present. The Flat Back IPA and pulled pork nachos, in particular, embody this spirit—unfussy, flavorful, and fiercely satisfying. The meal does not aim to dazzle with avant-garde flourishes, nor does it need to. It is honest, robust, and deeply rooted in the community it serves. In a world that often demands reinvention, Iron Spike proves that sometimes, the old can be made new again with a little fire and a lot of heart”
“Love the wings. Had them for lunch and dinner 5 days in a row. Yes 5 days. And they were closed the one day, when we pulled up cause I ate dinner at 9 pm but still served me 10 min after close. We drive the orange Jeep. We love you!!!!!pleAse start adding tip at register.... they work hard.”
“This review is for the Subway on Henderson Street. If you go to Subway in Galesburg, DO NOT go to the one on East Main. Go to the one on Henderson Street. The people are much nicer, the sit-down area is cleaner and you get enough on your sandwich to know it's a sandwich and not just a loaf of bread.”
“Okay first, amazing staff. My food was quick and good. Also, a young lady told me how amazing I smelt and then proceeded to tell me how good I looked. I did not catch her name, but she is such an amazing asset to the company. I know how hard it is to find genuinely amazing/happy people in food service! Highly recommend going to KFC”
“Best pizza in town. Friendly atmosphere. At times, good music. All-in-all, a great place for a beer and a pizza.”

“Stopped in after a dance class at the library. I travel a lot and make it a mission to seek out locally owned ice cream shops. I love my ice cream and love trying new flavors. I ask about the most unusual and the most popular flavors before making my choice. The owner and I spent several minutes discussing the flavors and what types of ice cream I like. I ended up with chocolate drizzled caramel corn and jacked up Tennessee toffee. Both were EXCELLENT!!! Very creamy and good flavor combinations. I even took a pint of each home (an hour and 15 min drive). I had a cooler in my car and the ice cream only softened a little. So many more flavors I want to try. I will be back!!!!!”
“The Patio Bar & Grill has some amazing staff, with excellent customer service. The environment is very welcoming! They have many amazing events, with extremely talented artists, etc. This place has it all. If you're looking for a place with great food, a good atmosphere, & so much more, The Patio Bar & Grill, is the place to go.”
“I absolutely love coming to the packinghouse! the salad bar is a must have! it is always VERY fresh, and there are a lot of options to choose from. I have tried many things off of the menu. The calamari is great! You wont regret trying anything off of the menu! The jalapeño chicken wraps to the meat loaf all the way to the steaks are great choices depending on what you are craving that day! Did I mention that the salad bar is phenomenal? I've tried many of the drinks here, and I love the long islands and I especially love their red cabernet sauvingons! this place is great whether you are coming here alone, with a group, or for date night! I could really go on and on about why you should eat here but I'd love to see you experience it for yourself! Tonight I had the pleasure of Alexia and Kolissa serving me and they are both great compliments to this establishment! They also were more than accommodating! 5 out 5 EVERYTIME!”
“We came in to play some darts and have a few drinks and eat some food. It’s a great welcoming atmosphere. The bar don’t serve food but the owner was sure to go to another bar he owns that does and bring us wings. We being not from around here and here for work felt very welcome. Everyone was so interested in what we do for work and very polite. We will definitely be making this our go to bar while we are in town. I highly recommend stopping in here if you’re in the area. Thank you very much to these friendly group of amazing people for not looking at us like we’re outsiders like almost every place we go to does we greatly appreciate it.”

“I love this place! I’ve been here twice! My daughter comes here often and now I’m hooked! Their food is the best! I can’t think of a thing I would change. Just that I wish they’d sell those little bridges that they bring the sushi out on. 😂❤️”

“After a rough night with little sleep, I came to McDonald’s for breakfast. I went through the drive thru and was immediately greeted with kindness. The ladies at both windows greeted me with a smile and told me to have a great morning. The lady at the second window noticed I was having a rough morning and even went as far as to genuinely ask if I was okay. I know how hard it is to be kind and cheerful some mornings and this morning the kindness was greatly appreciated.”
