“I LOVE the Friday Fish Fry, but they’ve got enough menu options for everyone to enjoy a meal. The fresh fish, awesome wings, burgers, and rib-eye steak sandwich are all delicious. Pair any meal with the beer or drink of your choice, catch a game on one of their multiple TVs and you’ve got a nice evening! “We held my father’s Celebration of Life at Fireside Grille, and I can’t say enough good things about our experience. When the manager, Zach, learned the reason for our gathering, he immediately went out of his way to make it possible even though the private room were already reserved. The entire team was wonderful to work with, the food was absolutely amazing, and everyone kept commenting on how delicious everything was. Our server, Lupe, was superb as always as well as the rest of the staff. Everyone was attentive, kind, and professional. I highly recommend Fireside Grille for any celebration or special occasion. I recommend this place 100%, the drinks are good, the bartenders are friendly, and the Viper Burger was our favorite. Alan is an awesome guy with a great sense of humor. The atmosphere is chill, welcoming and you'll have a great time. When I say to stop by The Bunker, I mean it lol 😃. Whenever we are in town again, we are definitely going to try stopping by. 😌✨“

“Not only have I loved Hawthornes from when I was a kid growing up in West Chicago! It was the PERFECT place to have my wedding. Lou, Heidi and Kelly did fantastic and helped make my dream come alive! Every question I had they answered and were able to accommodate so much! Heidi was in CONSTANT communication with me and was able to give advice and help me through the whole process. Her suggestions were so helpful and she helped during the ceremony and reception. I could not have done it without them. This place treats you like family and has amazing service! When my husband and I went to pick up our things the next morning we were planning on taking 2 trips and Lou let us borrow his truck that is how amazing and friendly they are! WE LOVE YOU HAWTHORNES! Thanks for making our wedding the best day of our lives(: not to mention EVERY guest couldn’t stop talking about how fun the venue was and there was something for everyone to do, wiffleball, volleyball, giant beer pong, bags, dancing, and more! “Great bar and great food. The wings are very good, wet or dry, there are a lot of options, I usually go with the Cajun dry rub.. Bingo is Wednesday night and a lot of fun, plus the wings are half off that day. Burgers are excellent. Jackie is fun and is always lively. Good people there too. And some slots if you’re into that.“

“We had a fantastic experience yesterday at Up North Ale House. Our server, Alex, was wonderful. She was attentive and engaging without being intrusive, and she was very good about making sure we had everything we needed at all time. The food was well prepared, tasty and at the right temperature. And the only reason I gave the 4 stars instead of a 5 for the ambience is because we're really not sports bar kind of people, but there was nothing wrong with what we saw. It was clean and everything appeared well kept up. Tons of screens if that is your thing. Overall, we had a great visit.“

“I've visited here more than a few times and every single thing I've ordered has been truly delicious. The filet steak salad is my newest obsession, the portions are generous, most especially for what they charge. If you're a smoker, the outside bar is ideal because you can smoke to your heart's content while eating and drinking. All the bartenders are AWESOME and the bathrooms are quite nice. I've never been let down eating here!“

“Great food, but they have a limited of certain section on certain food. Most of all the liquor is beer, but does have cocktails and other drinks. I love the lights it gives a romantic outdoor feeling. I went with my friend and enjoyed it. I had a Pork sandwich and she had a Philly steak sandwich.“
