“This was our first time visiting Riganato and after our experience, it won't be the last. From the time we entered, our server Marcia was very attentive. Everyone of our dishes were delicious. The entire staff came out to sing Happy Birthday to my wife and ensured everything was up to our satisfaction. The proportions of every dish was very large too. The remainder of our time was spent in silence since we couldn't hear each other. No fault of the restaurant or staff. Just self absorbed rude customers.“

My son has special needs and they were so great with him. At the end of the dinner when they could see I was struggling a bit with my son, one server came to me and said, “don’t worry mama, we got you.” So kind. “Service was awful! Our server, Joselyn, slammed down the glasses of water 5 minutes after we were seated, took our order and never saw her again until she slammed the bill down at our table. We saw her for a total of 3 minutes in the 45 minutes we were there. Unfortunately for Joselyn, her tip reflected her poor service. I tip 20-25% for good service, she lost out and made the restaurant less desirable to return. However, the burger was juicy and delicious, the macaroni and cheese was outstanding!“

“Walrus Room is a solid five star restaurant. Table service is fantastic. Our server knew the menu inside and out, provided useful recommendations and was very attentive without being pesty. Starting with the appetizers four of us had Shrimp DeJohgne, the Burrata, Curds and Chorizo Mussels. All very very good. From their extensive lists the ladies had wine and I had bourbon. For dinner we ordered the walleye on rice, Amish roast chicken and the prime steak frites. All really good although maybe the entrees were a bit salty. We ordered too much food and drink so the nearly five hundred dollar bill was our fault. Great service, fantastic atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back.“

Be sure to say hey to Natalie and Archie, they’re two of the best bartenders you’ll meet.“

They have great food, drinks, as well as live music on their wonderful back patio. I loved the portrait on the wall of the Thai military dude. Great ambience. It had a cigar and some whiskey under it to comfort him in the afterlife. Please do the same for me when I go.“

What really put things over the top was the nice little extra attention to detail. The sushi rolls were fresh, the Gyoza was awesome, the sauce that came with the Katsu Chicken was amazing - and even the shredded cabbage on the side was great! “We have been coming here for over 15 years and among all the places we done at, Country House is by far the best. And that is not only due to the great food but more than anything the outstanding service from the staff. We have always filled so valued and appreciated as patrons. The experience is second to none. Specifically, Michelle and Kristin in the bar area are some of the best people who have ever taken care of us. We hope Country House stays here for a very long time.“

“Rating this place is difficult because I love BBQ and I’ve been searching for a good one for awhile. The first time coming here (take out) was fantastic. Plenty of food, good prices, good service, and delicious food. The second time (dine -in) following a few months was not the same. Food was not all that tasty and Mac & cheese is always spicy regardless requesting without spice. It just didn’t hit the same. I do enjoy this place and want to visit a third but unsure if it’ll be like loving my first visit or settling like my second visit. Regardless, I still believe this might be one of the best BBQ place in the suburbs, which coming from is says a lot. I have had plenty of ribs from plenty of places!“
