My son has special needs and they were so great with him. At the end of the dinner when they could see I was struggling a bit with my son, one server came to me and said, “don’t worry mama, we got you.” So kind. “I asked to be seated in front of the fireplace 6 weeks ago and the host sat us at a window seat. It's Easter....not going to make a big deal; but worth noting! Mary Luna was delightful as was the staff and service. Chef is always fabulous and the presentation delightful.“

“Penrose is great. Their seltzers are more flavorful than High Noon, Topo Chico or Truly, if maybe higher calorie. Lemon Tea-up is a favorite. Their beers are also very good. Oktofest and Shandy are 2 of my favorites, but without a doubt the Brewer's Reserve Caves it top of the lot in my opinion. It's almost like a dessert beer; think alcoholic coffee bean dipped in chocolate. It's amazing. They don't have much in the way of food so I don't consider it a pub but the food they do have is pretty darn tasty. Great place to spend a couple of hours on a lazy afternoon.“

“Lunch today was fabulous! We had the Thai fried spring rolls to start out and then the yellow curry and pahd Thai. Everything was delicious! Their red chilli sauce is the best I've ever tasted. After, we finished with an order of mango with sticky rice, a perfect small sweet treat to end the meal. Excellent service and very friendly staff.“

“Service was awful! Our server, Joselyn, slammed down the glasses of water 5 minutes after we were seated, took our order and never saw her again until she slammed the bill down at our table. We saw her for a total of 3 minutes in the 45 minutes we were there. Unfortunately for Joselyn, her tip reflected her poor service. I tip 20-25% for good service, she lost out and made the restaurant less desirable to return. However, the burger was juicy and delicious, the macaroni and cheese was outstanding!“

“We absolutely love Cotto A Legna!! We have been coming here for years and we just recently had our birthday celebration there for a large group!! They were easy to work with everything was amazing!!! We highly recommend Cotto A Legna for a night out, casual family dinner(super kid friendly) and even a special event!!“

“Walrus Room is a solid five star restaurant. Table service is fantastic. Our server knew the menu inside and out, provided useful recommendations and was very attentive without being pesty. Starting with the appetizers four of us had Shrimp DeJohgne, the Burrata, Curds and Chorizo Mussels. All very very good. From their extensive lists the ladies had wine and I had bourbon. For dinner we ordered the walleye on rice, Amish roast chicken and the prime steak frites. All really good although maybe the entrees were a bit salty. We ordered too much food and drink so the nearly five hundred dollar bill was our fault. Great service, fantastic atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back.“

“We attended for our company holiday party and everything was great. The drinks were delightful, all of the food came out hot and the sushi was on point!“

First, I though that the size is smaller than the other Thai and Chinese restaurants, but the ingredients and the content are really delicious and well picked, so instead of eating just onions in a full plate, you eat everything well cut and cooked in a well enough size plate. “I LOVE the Friday Fish Fry, but they’ve got enough menu options for everyone to enjoy a meal. The fresh fish, awesome wings, burgers, and rib-eye steak sandwich are all delicious. Pair any meal with the beer or drink of your choice, catch a game on one of their multiple TVs and you’ve got a nice evening! Be sure to say hey to Natalie and Archie, they’re two of the best bartenders you’ll meet.“

“Rating this place is difficult because I love BBQ and I’ve been searching for a good one for awhile. The first time coming here (take out) was fantastic. Plenty of food, good prices, good service, and delicious food. The second time (dine -in) following a few months was not the same. Food was not all that tasty and Mac & cheese is always spicy regardless requesting without spice. It just didn’t hit the same. I do enjoy this place and want to visit a third but unsure if it’ll be like loving my first visit or settling like my second visit. Regardless, I still believe this might be one of the best BBQ place in the suburbs, which coming from is says a lot. I have had plenty of ribs from plenty of places!“

What really put things over the top was the nice little extra attention to detail. The sushi rolls were fresh, the Gyoza was awesome, the sauce that came with the Katsu Chicken was amazing - and even the shredded cabbage on the side was great!
