“Definitely a go-to spot for burgers and chicken tenders, but they also have a full menu that is just as good. They also have Taco Tuesdays!! It's a bar and restaurant. They also have slot machines and a newly built diner. I have been coming here for years. They have live music on some days. A lot of locals come here to relax and sit at the bar at the end of their day. Parking is ample and not far from Randall and 62. A must-try if you're new to the area or just passing by. It doesn't break the bank either for the quality. ?“

“First time at the Pizza Pushers, ordered takeout. Friendly, attentive staff. Nice clean cozy dining area. Ordered a sausage pizza and a Wild Hog. The pizza was delicious and could tell made with fresh, quality ingredients. For a guy that does Friday night date night every week in my opinion I got lots of good food for the price. I think next time I’ll eat there and enjoy a beer with my pizza.“

“What is wrong with me, I've haven't talked about Sal's? There are many things wrong with me, and that 4000 page book is for another time. The little pizza places are what I always look for. Sal's is a staple. Don't be fooled by it's location and exterior appearance, this workhorse is around the corner of a 7-eleven building. The appearance is small but internally, thanks to the hard workers doing their thing, they produce some great pizza. Their tavern style is classic, thin (but not cracker thin) crust has generous, tangy sauce, and hearty, fresh toppings. I like that the sausage isn't too salty like other places. Don't sleep on their wings, they are meaty and done right. Sal's is 100% pickup or delivery. They have other options for pizza, appetizers, hot sandwiches, pasta, ribs, salad, etc. Dave Portnoy recently put them on an extended map..beyond word of mouth from locals. I never expected him to show up near my neck of the woods, but if he was in search of a "real deal" or "go-to" tavern-style pizza, he made the right decision. Even without One Bite, Sal's was already award-winning. Be sure to use their coupons as they gladly accept them.“

“HUGE HEADS UP: If you bring cake to the restaurant you will be charged a "cake cutting fee" of $2.50 PER PERSON. I'm not sure what happened in the past for this unreasonable fee to exist, but you need to advertise this on your website and restaurant entrance. Being told on the spot with your group and cake is not useful. As much as I love this place, I would not have come in if I knew this beforehand. My family and I brought our own paper plates and cutlery too. I understand if there was a reasonable fee for bringing out extra plates and using fridge storage, but we essentially paid $25.00 to store our ice cream cake in a freezer and have one knife brought to us. On top of an automatic 20% gratuity for 8+ people (which is advertised at the entrance, so no complaints there).Our waiter was very kind and attentive. We appreciated him and the delicious food. I am just asking for more transparency because paying $25 extra for that is ridiculous. Start posting this information so your customers can make informed choices x“

“Lived in Chicago all my life but made a move to AZ a couple of years ago. I came back to visit and craved the pizza I grew up on. I was in the area and I just had a hunch this was a pizza joint I wanted to try. I was not disappointed!!! Casual dining great service and three weeks later I’m still dreaming about my cheese and sausage pizza. You guys do it right. AZ needs this pizza. Nothing in this state compares. “Jude's has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in downtown Crystal Lake. I love the variety of internationally inspired options and the size of the plates is perfect. I brought a very large group of ladies there for Black Friday, everyone has particular tastes and was able to find something they liked. They have a very trendy area in the back with a huge couch/bench for larger parties which was so comfortable. To top it off, the staff are always kind and accommodating during our visits!“

“One of my favorite weeknight spots for dinner and a cocktail. This super quaint restaurant is nestled into downtown East Dundee. You are promptly greeted by a host/hostess. They feature a seasonal food and cocktail menu, and it never disappoints!! The pig and fig wood fired pizza is mouth watering. The wood fired chicken thighs liven up your tastebuds with a little kick of spice from the diced jalapeños. (I forgot to take photos of our food, as we were pretty hungry). The staff is inviting, friendly and helpful with all of their menu favorites. You don't need reservations, however if it's a Friday or Saturday evening I would suggest it.“

“I met my parents here the other day as we both traveled some distance to meet up. This restaurant was absolutely wonderful atmosphere, small & quiet when we were there. I believe we had their lunch menu, and I ordered the Capellini pasta, my dad got Eggplant Parmesan, and my mom got the Italian Beef. Unfortunately I would suggest the entire staff of the restaurant needs to eat that same sandwich my mom ordered. She said it was dry & had no flavor, as if they boiled the fatty meat in plain water and threw it onto a crispy piece of bread. Thankfully she said something(my mom has never sent food back my entire life and I’m in my 20’s she’s in her 60’s) so for her to ask it to be removed from the bill just shows how gross it was.Our server was WONDERFUL, and of course she took it off the bill, and encouraged my mom to order another dish. She settled on the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and broccoli. She was throughly pleased with that dish, so it all ended well.The restaurant seemed cleaned and well managed other than maybe their Italian beef haha.Advice for future customers, don’t order their beef unless they change their recipe.Advice for the restaurant, PLEASE have a tasting going on for your staff members. The person who creates/created the recipes and cooks them needs to allow constructive criticism/feedback on their dishes. “I have been here twice. 1st time I had the burger and it was very good. This time I had the cheesy beef with a side of giardiniera, au jus for dipping, marinara and a small fry. The beef is definitely home made and probably on of the most tender beefs I've ever had, great flavor, just awesome! The Giardiniera is home made and has the perfect amount of heat, marinara sauce is very good too. The fries are fresh cut and also very good. Don't let the look on the outside fool you. It's not your average fast food place. It's way above that. I will be back to try other menu items.“

“My favorite pizza place! Tony V's was one of the first pizza places I tried when I moved into the area, and I've continued to go there since. Good prices and some pretty good sides as well. They also have coupons all the time for their pizzas! I haven't personally sat inside to eat, but it would be a good place for small casual gatherings as it's not very spacious inside. They do have a patio as well though! Staff has been friendly when I've visited. Definitely give it a try! I really like their thin crust with pepperoni and onion“

“I cannot rate the atmosphere, because we ordered for delivery. We ordered a 16 inch, thin crust pie for dinner. The estimated time was 45-60 minutes, but it arrived in 25. It was hot and delicious, and we will order again.Parking: If it's busy, you are going to have to walk a bit from your car, unless you are just picking up your order. Most people just pull up to the curb for that and run in. I always park, so I am out of the way, and at dinner time I have to park in the lot across from the building.“

“Still the best I drive 45 minutes.On a good traffic day to enjoy this crispy thin crust. Make sure you take advantage of this crispy crust and order it well done. When you walk in the door, there is a service station right to the left. There's always been immediate communication and unless it's packed you never have to wait for a seat. Plenty of room I very much like the ambience Northwoods, theme, and there's something to look at everywhere you go around the room. Sometimes after placing my order, I walk around and do just that to see what's new and was changed.“

“I was there last night for the first time for a birthday party. The service was wonderful, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very nice. I took at peek at the outdoor dinning and it looked so nice and what a view! The bartenders were fabulous! They had karaoke there last night too. Oh, and if you like carrot cake or cheese cake, (I’m sure all the desserts are just as delicious) save room for dessert! I will definitely be coming back.“

On Tuesdays the dining area is closed and they just have a drive-through "buy one get one free" pizza deal which we participate on a regular basis. “I don’t make a ton of reviews but I had to review Pinemoor because this place knows thin crust pie better than anyone in a 25 mile radius, I’m convinced. I’ve tried just about every other pizza spot in Crystal Lake and none of them have even a contender spot in the race against Pinemoor. The crust alone is a perfectly imperfect canvas, and the sauce is exactly what any true pie lover would want the artist to paint it with. Next time I’m getting extra sauce on top! 6/5 stars all day. I found my new favorite local pie joint, and it’s Pinemoor.“

Always checking on us for drink refills and to take away the plates that we used once we were done with it. “I have been ordering from here for dinner where I work. We all aty work enjoy the pizza & appetizer. I ordered a Chicken Ceasar salad, a small BLT pizza & an Italian Beef with giardiniera with a side of adjustable. Well my coworker told me she only received 1 small Ceasar dressing for the salad (2 or 3 for the salad would have it nicely covered), Italian Beef was a fully disappointment. I would NEVER recommend that at all. The menu for the Italian Beef is NOT true at all. The menu says "NOW WITH MORE MEAT", well I received more giardiniera then meat. When I called she told me that it was 6ozs. of meat that all beefs get. I can tell you as a former line cook that packaged Italian Beef that what I received was NOT 6ozs since I packaged 7ozs of Italian Beef. I DO NOT recommend the Italian Beef at all. I was excited to get the be since all I heard was good things but when I received it and looked at the sandwich it was giardiniera with very little Italian Beef and I received 2 large containers of auju. I was really DISAPPOINTED on the sandwich and the answer that they gave me. If your menu says "NOW WITH MORE MEAT" 6ozs is not enough. It was a GIARDINIERA sandwich with Italian beef... Other pizza I will not order anything else. VERY DISAPPOINTED.... Pictures will be posted...“

“First time trying this pizza... Not disappointed! Ordered an XL thin crust half adult and half kid-friendly pizza and it was really good. Loved the sauce and the toppings all tasted really fresh. We ordered the fried mushrooms and they were cold (which is why the 4 stars). But we popped them in the air fryer for a few minutes and they were just fine. The ranch that came with it was pretty good too. Overall price was great for the quality of pizza. I looked up the special schedule and we'll definitely try the double dough or pan pizza next time. Seems like they definitely do pizza right but maybe not some other things..? Might try a pasta dish next time and update my review. My BF grabbed a couple brownies when he picked it up and they were SO YUMMY! Super gooey but also very very sweet. I love that texture of brownie but I just can't eat that much sugar - one bite was definitely enough for me to enjoy the flavor of it haha. My kiddos and BF enjoyed it all though! “As a lifelong "Chicagoan", I take my pizza seriously. I don't use the word "love" lightly so when I say, my family and I "love" WCP's thin crust pizza, you can take that to mean their pizza is a superior product in taste, appearance and the quality of its ingredients. When, in an attempt to save money, others are cutting back on the quality and quantity of their ingredients, WCP is uncompromising! They've always been generous with their ingredients, their cheese in particular, but now in our current economy, their superiority sets a new bar. Of their 3 locations, Elgin is closest to me and is the only location I've ever ordered from. Since I've only ordered my pizza for delivery, I can't speak to the ambiance of the dine in experience but what I can tell you is this, from the phone order to delivery, the Elgin staff has always been polite, respectful and friendly. They've NEVER screwed up my order, forgotten a coupon discount or been late with a delivery. They are honest and accurate when they quote the estimated time for delivery and my pizza always arrives hot. WCP has a loyal customer in me!“
