“I am a simple man. I usually get 2 eggs and some kind of meat. This place does a fine job and the other items I have tried off the menu are good as well. Usually not a long wait and has plenty of space even on Sunday. Staff is always friendly. Only complaint is that it can be on the pricier side but that's just the price of doing business nowadays. You could definitely do worse for breakfast.“

“My husband and I have been to Paul's in the past but we recently took our 1 year old for breakfast on his 1st birthday and the staff were SO kind! Our waitress surprised us with icecream (his first sweet treat!) and sang him happy birthday. It made his special day feel even more special. I would come again if I passing thru. Some places in the past have a little station with onions, pico, etc. Be nice to have that. That’s my only complains.“

“Do not be fooled that this hidden gem is located at a gas station! A group of us were randomly in the area and used google to look for a place to eat when we found Mr. Cesar’s restaurant. The food was some of the best Mexican food I’ve had! Mr. Cesar was super friendly even though we came in with a large group when they were near closing. We came back a second time on the way back from Rockford because I was craving it. The tacos (I love the chicharron tacos), the pozole and the mole chicken were some of the best I’ve had. We’re far up north and don’t live near, but will make it everytime we have to go out to Rockford (for sports cards shows). Thanks Mr. Cesar and your chefs for making such great food and to you for being so hardworking and hospitable. See you soon!“
