“I see a few negative reviews of this place and I can tell you that whatever issues they had they have resolved. Ordered my food at roughly 11pm on Friday and got it sooner than expected with the food being very warm. Food was very very good and had a nice presentation to it. Most places its hit or miss when ordering late and close to their closing. But I wouldn't hesitate to order again. Delivery driver was awesome. This place deserves 5 stars.“

“A gourmet twist on wood fired pizza. I have never had pizza so fresh in all of St. Louis! The flavors expand on your pallette and make your soul smile. Do not come in expecting anything "american traditional" like Dominos, Joe's Pizza, or any other pizza place in St. Louis who bog down the pizza with cost effective cheese, stale dough, and inconsistent pie creation. The pizza was extremely fresh, well thought out, and simply delicious. Don't miss out on Michelin Star quality wood fired pizza. 1929 is truly a gem and one of my favorite places to eat in the Greater St. Louis area.“

“Sorry pics are after the first round of diners at the pizza buffet! We ordered three pizzas for our diverse family tastes and needs. The Veggie, pepperoni sausage and green pepper, and a sausage and black olive, everyone was happy and satisfied and asked why we don’t order from here more! We will from now on. Also arrived exactly on time I was given for delivery and their delivery person was super pleasant.

Vegetarian options: The Veggie Pizza is delicious I personally like the chunks of tomato and I like green olives too the Veggie specialty pizza works for me.“

“We took our twins for their 6th birthday tonight. The staff was all nice and they were professional. They let us request pizzas for the buffet and even told us when they put it out. Nice atmosphere and very clean, and food was hot/fresh. We used to come here a lot years ago and definitely will be coming back again! Thank you for making my kiddos birthday dinner great!“

She was the most delightful, empathetic, and helpful representative I've ever experienced from any fast food establishment. We have always enjoyed pizza hut cuisine. Last nite's verbal exchange on the phone, exceptional service and assistance, and delivery was an absolute pleasure.“

“I've been wanting to come here for a while. I got the thick crust bbq chicken pizza. They were really nice and walked me through what to order being my first time. It's like a chipotle pizza so you do have to wait for the pizza to be cooked. But WELL WORTH IT!“

“Our pizzas turned out great. I really liked the provel cheese on my pizza and my wife really loves Imo's thin crispy crust. Our only issue was with the cinnImos. There was hardly any cinnamon or icing on them. It was like eating plain, small bread rolls.“

“The chicken parmesan was kinda of good. I don't understand Italian cuisine in the USA. Tomato sauce with no spices and always the same taste, so I will say, it tasted like any chaine restaurant in the USA. Has for the service, well the waitress was nice, but more clients started to arrive, so she was nervous. We weren't finish and she already gave us the bill. I told her that we were not finished and that we wanted dessert. So, she came back for our desserts, but she didn't take our empty plates on the table. We add to push them in a corner to eat our desserts.“

“This was our 10th or 11th visit to Alfonzo's Pizzaria and each visit was the same; OUTSTANDING! Mike, the owner, visited our table on several of the visits. Thank you Mike. “At least once or twice a week I call in and order a couple pizzas, and I’ve not once had a bad experience. I get them a little lighter on sauce and they never forget. It’s always piping hot and looks and tastes great. We typically order in the afternoons between 330-6pm depending on our schedule and the staff at that time are consistently kind, fast at what they’re doing, and th e place is always clean. I figured I’d leave a review since they consistently get it right and the pizz is always great“

“These absolute giga-chads went out of their way to hand-deliver a single pizza to me, an overnight worker in Glen Carbon, all the way from Collinsville (Glen Carbon store is undergoing renovations currently).They did this in a timely manner, pizza still hot, prep and presentation impeccable, and all handled with the utmost grace.I failed to get the manager and delivery driver’s names, but you guys have my eternal gratitude. “Excellent pizza- we live 4 hours away so we’ve never tried Imo’s before. The cheese is so different from any other pizza we’ve had- it was so good! The ravioli was awesome. Friendly staff too. Thank you- we will definitely be back next time we’re in the St Louis area“

“Good place to eat, order occasionally. It’s frustrating they refuse to deliver to Hartford yet the deliver to south roxana. Then they say it was changed where they will deliver to Hartford if I call. I then called to order on March 14th and was told they aren’t supposed to and the manager said they’ve been doing against the bosses wishes the whole time. Make up your minds. Especially when Pizza Hut is my go to for pizza and I have to get out every time I want some. I don’t have a car at the moment to just get up and go.“

“The pizza was just as we ordered, but our problem is with the mango habanero wings. I ordered 32 wings. which cost $32, and there was almost no sauce on them. When I filed a report. they offered my a free medium pizza worth about 1/3 what I paid for the wings. What would have made me happy? Some mango habanero sauce for our wings. That would make me very happy.“
