Great Ramen + Very close to home + good price
Peaceful and lovely with amazing dim sum offerings. Perfect for a light lunch. We’ve been here before for ramen and stir fry; also delicious. Everybody in Glen Ellyn and beyond should visit this great place!
The strawberry milk tea is amazing, and the golden lava bun is also so good. Very calm, happy, relaxing vibe. This is a hidden gem in Glen Ellyn!

Ichi Ramen is a peaceful and lovely restaurant in Glen Ellyn with amazing dim sum offerings, perfect for a light lunch. The ramen and stir fry are also delicious. The ramen is amazing, and the spicy creamy vegan ramen impresses with a creamy broth, green vegetable noodles, bamboo shoots, kimchi, corn, and other vegetables. The spice is subtle and warming. The dragonfruit mango smoothie is highly recommended, not too sweet and very fresh. Favorites include soup dumplings, cucumber salad with a nice little kick, and the tonkotsu classic ramen. The Piggy Bun, Tonkatsu rich garlic ramen, Tonkatsu classic ramen, Crispy chicken ramen, Creme brule milk tea, and Triple Bros milk tea are also available. The ramen is the star with nice flavorful broth, and the piggy buns are pandas with a mildly sweet eggy filling. The milk tea has the tea flavor, but the creme brule one is unusual. The spicy pork ramen is great, and gluten free noodles are offered, a real treat for those with gluten sensitivity. The Totoro statue is loved, and the dining experience is very clean and calming. Staff is friendly and seats guests right away. This cute place merits a return trip and is one of the best ramen places in the area. Everybody in Glen Ellyn and beyond should visit this great place.
