“Went in and love that its pet friendly. Had a good variety of hot dogs that I havent seen in other places, sandwiches and burgers, and bowls. I had the lemongrass grilled chicken bowl over rice. So good and unique flavors. The fries were crispy and delicious. Definitely returning with the pup.“

“All I know is that the food is so good that I have been here 3 times since it opened (Which has been less then 6 months). I know I should branch out and try the other offerings but I just really love the Tori Paitan and will be back more when the cooler weather is fully settled in.
I also sincerely appreciate that there are good non-alcoholic mixed drinks, because sometimes someone just wants a fun mixed drink but none of the alcohol and there's quite a few options here- expanded even from the menu pictured on Google. There's a really good Yuzu based drink that I also keep getting that is my favorite.
The atmosphere is higher end but not pretentious, and cozy while still being open.

I look forward to bringing more of my friends here.

Parking: Fair amount of parking but it's in a strip mall with other restaurants so you're not always able to find a spot immediately. There's usually more parking in the back“

“Love this place! The chicken is that perfect blend of crunchy and saucy, plus they are huge and meaty for chicken wings. Both sauces are amazing spicy is my favorite but the bacon kimchi fried rice is life changing it's a must! service was on point asian gentleman that was super patient and awesome! 100% recommend!“

The menu with varieties and many Asian popularities dishes. Think this may be comparable from south Canal street China Town and the best one in the north shore neighborhood.

The hash browns are your regular frozen hash browns but they're crispy and come with an onion jam. I learned what a calamansi was from the soda option, it's a small citrus fruit that's a hybrid between a kumquat and a mandarin. It's a pretty good soda.“

“Decided to try out this place after hearing it from a client. I was delighted that they have a simple kiosk ordering system which made things quick and easy. Ordered the pork and ginger dumplings and the grilled chicken. The dumplings even though they were hot, they were still flavorful. The chicken paired with the coconut rice was well-cooked and very filling. I had the egg tart for dessert and it tasted okay, Overall still satisfied with the experience and food.“

“Over 20 years ago I started eating at their original Lincoln Park location. Today, their delicious food keeps me coming back time after time. It helps that the restaurant is staffed by the nicest people in the world. When I call for pickup they know my order (lad nar with chicken and Japanese gyoza) and they have it ready in ten minutes. “Great place! Love the atmosphere and best part the food. The Cajun garlic fries are the best fries I’ve ever had. Garlic noodles I can eat all day. Had seafood boil and that was fun and delicious! “This place was perfect for celebrating a birthday. We came on a Friday afternoon and it was pleasantly not busy until it got later into the afternoon. We choose their spicy broth and tomatoes one. There was an unlimited choice of meats to choose from and a station for making your own sauce. You could also get up and get some vegetables and noodles as well. They also had some appetizer and rice as well.

Tried teriyaki sauce on the side and it was tasty but the veggies are all so seasoned so well that sauce wasn’t necessary and the meat was also super flavorful and marinated. Highly recommend. “one lower level than top japanese american cuisine. BUT better than most out there. I don’t mean that in a bad way. I would definitely still come here and explore other dishes they have and definitely order these again. My spiciness tolerance isn’t great (I think hot cheetos are spicy) With that being said the spicy miso and spicy beef were spicy like hot cheetos level to me. but so delicious! This Thai tea, one of the best I have had! Not too sweet! I like the music they played as well.“

I had an egg sandwich which I could not eat fast enough because it was so good and my wife had the curry bowl with spam which she also loved. Food peoples of Evanston unite! “Really good place! I was expecting generic Chinese but I was pleasantly surprised. I asked the owner if the egg foo young was made with real eggs, or eggs from a carton. He was kind of shocked at the notion he would use eggs from a carton and assured me it was made with fresh eggs and freshly-made vegetables, like he would not be caught dead doing it any other way. That gave me a good feeling about the place - he clearly had pride in what he does. We had a vegetarian and a celiac in the party and he was very understanding and respectful of their needs. We are picky eaters but were all very happy with our meals, which were really good. Big portions too!“
