“I went there for the first time. The vibe, service and food was great. my only issue was the automatic 18 percent gratuity. it was only two people who had one drink each, burgers and appetizer. Our bull was 89.00. Also we were not given an actual bill we were just told our bill was 89.00. I didn't appreciate that and have never experienced that before.“

“My husband Jack and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary tonight, and on a last minute whim he chose Bella Mia. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of phenomenal, and I had to write this review immediately. The moment we walked in, we were greeted not only by the host and hostess, but also by several staff members and even guests at the bar. The atmosphere was warm, cozy, welcoming, and incredibly friendly. Pure class. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and perfectly accented with soft candlelight, making the evening feel special and intimate. We sat at the bar and were welcomed by Gina, the bartender, who was extremely attentive and genuinely kind, making us feel right at home. The food was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. The owner, Randy, came by to greet us and his personality was truly infectious. He had us laughing nonstop and made our night even more memorable. We also had the pleasure of sitting next to Marcy and Dick, regulars who have been coming since day one. Even though this was our very first visit, we felt like part of the Bella Mia family. From the staff to the clientele, the love and pride behind this place are undeniable. Bella Mia is truly one of a kind and deserves all the recognition it receives. “We had our Christmas Dinner there. It is a very nice venue for our family to enjoy food, fun and bonding time. This is not a restaurant so they do not serve food, however there was ample space to bring your spread and lay it out beautifully. The ambiance was great and there was plenty of room. Also, ample parking and the venue was easy to find. It was my first time there and I would definitely enjoy returning there in the future.“

“well I'm really torn on if I should recommend or not... most of the time the food is fine but when it comes to fundraisers they are really really horrid. let's put a box out and not put anything on the box so the majority of the people have no idea about tossing their receipts in there for a cause... im pretty sure they make enough money where they can put something on the boxes for the customers... if they are so scared about losing money don't even bother... yesterday I was there around 4 and not one person threw a receipt in the box.. I was the first.... second fundraiser and second time unless you already knew, had no idea about it.. .“

“Impeccably clean restaurant! The food is amazing and fresh. My Skillet was delicious as the fresh ingredients made the difference! Home made and not from a Sysco can! Entire staff was attentive to their tables. Debi was very nice and attentive.
The owner is friendly, and you can tell he appreciates his staff.

“Came here during a rush and they were working to try and get everyone seated and out. Took a while to get the food which was understandable given that I was seated along with five other groups at the same time. The people here made sure everyone got what they wanted and checked in to make sure everything was going alright. I got the value slam and was pretty full off of just that.“

“I just happened to crash out in Lansing Illinois for the night. This place was right down the road from my room. Had an old school look and a comfortable feeling. The bartender that waited on me was an absolute doll. She took great care of me. I got the twisted turkey sandwich and the rueben quesadilla. I really wasn't expecting much, but let me tell you they were both fantastic. They obviously only use grade A ingredients and it shows. If you're ever in Lansing illinois, JJ KELLEYS is a must stop.“

“Went here for the first time and what a treat! I love 50s stuff and this place is a hidden gem to me. I had an award winning experience from the minute we walked in. Total 50s decor and the aroma of fresh coffee and lively conversation was everywhere. The place is a bit small but so welcoming. They have tables and chairs and a counter to sit at. I felt like I took a step back in time. Love it!!!! I had a vegetarian skillet that was very delicious. The servers were excellent and so attentive to our needs. The place was extremely busy but was still working like a well oiled machine. Everyone was having a great time as I was looking about the room and enjoying everything the place had to offer. We will be going back again and can’t wait to try the other items they offer. Great job everyone!!!“

“Classic supper club hidden in the heart of Highland, IN. Food is always comforting, delicious and the perfect portion. Steaks are cooked on an open flame, so you get a great char taste. Cocktails are always huge, and when the juke box is playing in the bar it feels like I stepped back in time--in the best way. Staff is friendly, and have been around the block. Owner often greets you upfront, and can be found sitting with his family on a Friday night, of which are all friendly and welcoming. Feels like no one is a stranger here.“

“Great quality food , the chef was very polite and cashier was very sweet. I had a chicken sandwich along with 6 buffalo wings with an order of sandwich to go for breakfast the next day and the meal was delicious! I will sure be coming here more often next time I’m visiting again from New York“

“We ordered the cod dinner on 1/29 and it was delicious. However, when we sat down in a booth we noticed an elderly lady struggling to walk up the icy sidewalk from the parking lot. When the young man brought our food we told him about it and suggested someone spread salt on the area. He was nice and thanked us for mentioning it. However, in the 45 minutes we sat there no one followed through and actually salted the sidewalk. Not good, Culvers.“

Tried a flight of 10 beers and favs were Tangerine Trackstar, Toxic Words, Lucifer in a haze, Immoveable King, Nuban overlord and the top one Here comes the reaper. We also had the Pretzel and queso for snacks. They were very good and fast. They also had ice tea which is not always available at breweries. I will say the art work gave me pause and some of the names being a Christian but I don't know the background to comment.“

“My server Irene was nice and very attentive. She suggested a couple of entrees. The Billionaires Bacon Burger was satisfying and the Sweet Potato Fries were delicious!! The Pineapple Habanero Wings were a solid 10/10. They also have the coldest Draft Beers I've ever had so that's definitely a plus. The atmosphere was comfortable. I genuinely recommend you give them a try.“

“We always love the food from Cracker Barrel. This last visit was unfortunately not very good. We had to continuously ask for syrup for the pancakes and then when they brought them, they brought the wrong kind as we needed sugar-free by the time they did get it to us pancakes were a little bit better than lukewarm. The eggs were not cooked the way we had asked. The service was very slow and although all this sounds bad, we will of course be going back because most of the time it’s good service and good food. We were at the Cracker Barrel in Merrillville, Indiana.“
