“went there for the 1st time last Saturday for Nomad Planet show . Fantastic venue ! Very cool vibe great art work really good food ..had a taco and amazing pulled pork slider that was huge and delicious. We look forward to future shows ! we'll definitely be back .“

“Visiting the area and family wanted us to try their brews as one of their favorites. Tried a flight of 10 beers and favs were Tangerine Trackstar, Toxic Words, Lucifer in a haze, Immoveable King, Nuban overlord and the top one Here comes the reaper. We also had the Pretzel and queso for snacks. They were very good and fast. They also had ice tea which is not always available at breweries. I will say the art work gave me pause and some of the names being a Christian but I don't know the background to comment.“

“We always love the food from Cracker Barrel. This last visit was unfortunately not very good. We had to continuously ask for syrup for the pancakes and then when they brought them, they brought the wrong kind as we needed sugar-free by the time they did get it to us pancakes were a little bit better than lukewarm. The eggs were not cooked the way we had asked. The service was very slow and although all this sounds bad, we will of course be going back because most of the time it’s good service and good food. We were at the Cracker Barrel in Merrillville, Indiana.“

“We recognized as members of the Marriott Bonvoy and assigned an excellent, clean room. Although the facility is adjacent to the expressway, we heard no traffic noise. The staff was friendly, efficient and helpful, including helping us with luggage. The location is easy off/easy on for the expressway.“

“We thoroughly enjoyed having our wedding reception at The Emerald Green. The new event coordinator, Dani, is truly fantastic. She is very familiar with event hosting and has a solid understanding of the wedding industry. It was a pleasure to work with Dani for her reliable communication, attention to detail, and professional coordination of vendors and reception timeline. Dani respected our floor plan design so the seating arrangement was exactly what we envisioned for our wedding. There was ample seating and space for our DJ, photo booth, dessert table and a gifts table. Our guests especially loved the food and the open bar. Overall, we were pleased with the entire server staff of The Emerald Green. If you are interested in a beautiful venue to host your next event, we recommend this!“

“Staff is amazing. Customer service is HARD don't let anyone tell you otherwise and they always come off as being genuinely welcoming and friendly. I've never had an experience at this location where it felt like they were having a tough day - and that's hard to do in the service industry.“

“Love this place, but the dining area is massively reduced (March 2025). Might be just getting worked on (?), not sure, but had family in from out of town that loves this place too and we couldn't fit our group so we had to go somewhere else!“

“The best fried shrimp ever. It's worth the drive, and the wait. The jumbo shrimp are good. I always buy the ex-large ones. The cheese & macaroni salad is delicious. Their mild sauce goes great with the shrimp. If you want a little spice, get the hot one and mix them up. I always get a pound of shrimp so I will have some now, and later.“

“All staff was very attentive and helpful! We got sat right away and attended by our server Yareli. She was very helpful and gave us lots of information about the menu. She cleared off our table right away and got us refills when it was at an okay amount. Coming back soon most definitely! 10/10 experience“
