“I was born and raised in Chicago. Thin crust tavern style pizza is my go to! I moved to Indiana and miss good Chicago pizza. I had Bartolini s shipped via Goldbelly last week. I am BLOWN AWAY!!! This is the absolute best pizza I have had since I left Chicago!!!! Next time I am back in the area you better believe I will be there!!!!“

“Doug was patient, cordial, very attentive. My mom, 96, has not been out for a meal in 5 yrs. Doug made this a pleasant experience for the 4 of us. Comfortable sitting, great comfortable noise level, not crowded sitting( we had a wheelchair), food excellent. Pork shoulder outstanding. No stickiness on anything. Best day/meal ever! Thank u Doug“

“The shaved ice is amazing. They have several flavors to choose from. That was my favorite part actually.

The pizza was okay. It needs seasoning in the sauce. I had pepperoni and my husband had pepperoni and sausage. He said the sausage tasted like Casey's sausage. Do with that what you will.

Other than the lack of seasoning, the crust was great. If you LOVE cheese, you will like how much cheese they use. The pepperonis would taste better if they were above the cheese, but that is of course preference. Overall nice place. 1 slice is all you really need do to the size of each slice.“

I had a taste for something different today. Sometimes in Northwest Indiana, it feels like we tend to have many of the same restaurant choices, and I wanted to try something new without having to drive too far from home. Dante’s definitely delivered.

The menu has so many great choices that I honestly didn’t know what to order! I started with an appetizer, which was absolutely delicious, and decided to order a small pizza to take home.

But what really made my first experience stand out was the service. I sat in the bar area and was taken care of by Lindsay, who was absolutely fabulous. From the moment she learned it was my first time there, she took the time to explain things, tell me about the different specials throughout the week, and even helped make sure my pizza was ordered exactly the way I wanted it.

Lindsay is not only a great bartender, but her level of customer service is exceptional. Her attentiveness, personality, and overall service are the kind of experience every restaurant should strive to provide.

“I stopped on by Jet's Pizza to get the 2 Pepperoni slices lunch combo and 🌊. The Detroit Style crust is crispy, and the sauce was so MUCH better. One day, I will get the Ultimate Pepperoni. I will definitely be visiting more often. I was so very extremely happy to the Matteson location open with have to travel very far away from my neighborhood.“

“As I walked in the cashier was too busy playing a game on her phone. She acted as if I was disturbing her. Anyway now to the pizza I ordered a small pizza with 4 toppings, extra cheese and sauce. It was 30 dollars a couple of the toppings was a double charge. They told me 40 minutes. I've never waited that long for a pizza but okay. It wasn't definitely no extra cheese and sauce. I must say it was delicious. Just a few things rubbed me the wrong way so I'm not sure if I will try it again“

“I decided to try Jet's Pizza months after seeing an advertisement and after tasting it I'm sorry that I waited so long. It's delicious 🤤. I love the crunchy edges and it has a unique flavor. It's good hot or cold and although it's thick.... it's not gummy. So now I'm hooked...my new go-to pizza is Jet's Detroit style large with extra sausage, extra mushrooms, and extra green peppers. PS. The service was excellent and the pizzeria was bright and very neat.“

“We went to Johns in Dyer and had a fabulous experience. We went for my birthday. 4 adults and eight grandchildren. The food was amazing and the service was awesome and the boys making the pizzas were so nice to the kids. The kids were watching through the window and the cooks were interacting with the kids. “I had came in on my lunch break to order me a pizza I recommended by a friend that I had to come check this place out let me tell you the staff member Amelia that had took care of me was amazing, respectful, kind and had a lot patience with me knowing this was my first time visiting Mod Pizza. “Well, if they cook your food properly, it's not bad... however, if they don't and you need to send it back to cook it (not a fan of raw burgers 🤷‍♀️) and it comes back the same way... be prepared to not eat and pay for the meal anyway. I asked for it to be removed from our bill (over $100 total so not just a couple things) and they removed it after a small "fight" but literally charged us for a basket of fries cuz I ate a few fries off my plate, I guess. they don't take care of their mistakes nor do they care to make things right. “Very clean bar. Italian beef sandwich and Sicilian pizza was delicious. Bar staff seems to be very friendly. There is quite a lack of parking at this facility. There was only three people in the bar. Went on a Monday before 4th of July 2024.

I did hear they have karaoke on the weekend so hopefully I'll be able to check that out very soon.

If you have an opportunity I would definitely check out Cuzin's.“
