“Love this place - the chicken is always good. BUT if I order wings and ask for “mild sauce on the side” I only want mild sauce. I ordered 8 wings with mild sauce on the side and got 1 cup of mild sauce and 1 cup of hot sauce - I never asked for hot sauce so now I have 8 wings with 1 cup of sauce.“

I would’ve never thought to put pickles and cole slaw on top of chicken and fries but it works.
My only gripe with the Oak Lawn location, in particular, is the night crew! I have to check my food before I leave because they keep messing up my order. I got all the way home one time and there was no 24k sauce on either order. My bf went in on a Sunday evening around 8pm and was told they weren’t taking any orders, although they were currently preparing an order for someone. The hours state that they close at 9pm so why aren’t you taking orders at 8pm?? Recently I ordered the same thing again, checked before I left and everything looked as it should. However, I get home, and there’s barely any cole slaw on either order. Also, I mentioned no spice on either order. My son mentioned that his was a little spicy and he couldn’t finish it. I noticed mine was spicy as well but could tolerate it. This is ridiculous that my order continues to be incorrect, or you’re turning away business because you don’t want to do your job. Then you try to compensate by giving out free drinks and the order is still incorrect. Not looking to get anyone fired (especially in this economy) but this needs to be looked into.“

“I absolutely love Gina’s!! Better than Marlon’s, Harold’s, uncle Remus, Stony sub, JJ’s, sharks, and even Heinies!! The Batter is original and old fashioned. The perfect crunch with a hence of seasoning. Always fresh everytime! Not too big or little.. just right wings!!! I love Gina’s and I wish I could buy the recipe lol! Staff is very professional because they have been around forever! Love both hot and bbq sauce and they sell ribs as well! I wish Gina’s didn’t close on Tuesdays and Wednesday( yes I know their operation hours 😌) Heaven in a bag 💯💯😌😌😏“

“Cool addition to the burbs. Stays true to the Harold’s standard of juicy yet crispy fried chicken wings but there’s a bar so you can chill, eat, and have a drink. Everything is fried btw…wings, shrimp, catfish, & some sides. The Derailer was excellent! Establishment is small but lively and clean. There are only like 12 tables so if you catch it at the wrong time you could encounter a moderate wait but tables were open during my visit. Staff were pleasant. Dined on a karaoke night (Weds) and there were some nice singers in there! Several tvs available to catch a game. Parking is easy. Would definitely recommend the Harold’s bar experience.“

“Excellent coffee and customer service. It's a fast-food place, but the atmosphere is elevated because the people who work here are all really polite, professional, and friendly. They also look just really put-together and stylish (just an aesthetic thing I noticed). It's also really clean with real flowers on each table, and just very pleasant. I was here in the morning and would definitely come back at this time of day. A bright spot in the Ford City area and in this area of the Southwest Side.“

“They go above and beyond! Management is wonderful and they thoroughly train their employees. I noticed this because when I was in the dining room, I overheard and I really like how clean and friendly they are there! The food is great and I just got the grilled chicken egg sandwich this morning, and it was perfect! Manager came out and I was able to get it in less than a minute! They have a great attitude, even for customers like us that are in a hurry, and they go above and beyond! I wish that this business continues to thrive! Will keep coming back!“

“The chicken is always fried and seasoned to perfection. However i have found that even though i order then with lemon pepper when i open the container there's no sign of lemon pepper.

This could be due to the quality of lemon pepper they use but not only do i not see it visually i don't taste it either which sucks bc all you have to say is we don't do that. Because i don't see you forgetting every single time.

I haven't tried anything outside of their chicken and perch and bottled drinks.

“Though the sign says you get coleslaw with all dinners. I get home and no slaw. I called and she said everyone don't eat coleslaw, you have to ask. Going back to get my slaw, I stated the menu says slaw comes with the order. They said the slaw is actually complimentary and that you only pay for the food itself not the coleslaw. “My mom and I visited this Popeyes to grab something to eat. We were in the neighborhood for a CPR Class. We got the Darin Dab Ghost wings. I think that is what they are called. Anyway, when I tell you them wings were good, they were good. First the customer service was great. And the wings were hot and fresh, nicely seasoned and crunchy!!!!! Will definitely stop in again when in the neighborhood. Just wanted to make sure you all knew that. Great customer service and food! We visited on a Saturday.“

“I came in last night (03/14/25) before hitting the highway to head home, Food was AMAZING ! The only downside was I purchased the 2 meat + 2 side + an extra side & only received one of my meats. Total was almost $30. Didn’t realize until I was already home 2hrs away eating my meal. I received my jerk chicken, but not my stew meat (I think that’s what it’s called). I was the lady with the baby sitting down. I will say that buddy was back there doing all the work himself and that line kept piling up, so I get it. 😩 I just would've loved to have tasted the other meat & that mean my leftovers (that I’m eating rn) would be bigger 👏🏽🤣 lol“

“Fist timer. The Buffalo sauce is perfect. Just enough to make sweet beads on my forehead. The fries are good too. My wife had the Tilapia it was lightly breaded. It takes a little longer to cook than the chicken.“

“Harold’s is always the first place i go when i land in the Chi. This past week was no different. My best friend picked me up from the airport and already knew what it was, lol. This particular Harold’s was recommended. I stopped in around 8:30 or so and i gave my spill abt how it’s a tradition each time i come Chicago, Harold’s it’s always the first stop. The lady at the register took my order and asked where i was visiting from. I got wings and a pizza puff with mild and hot sauce, salt/pepper, and ketchup. She recommended i add Lemon Pepper, i obliged. After abt 10 minutes, i got my fresh food with a free bottle of mild sauce. Once i made it to the crib the food was gone in abt 7 mins. Food and customer service 10 out of 10 would highly recommend… I’ll definitely be back.“

“Ok wing place. If you don't feel like cooking come here for your dinner. They have catfish, perch, smoothies, slices of cake. Just a basic wing restaurant nothing wood hoo about it. You can call your order in for faster service and they have plenty of parking.“

“Look at the pictures it says it all, this is the best chicken I ever had. Triple lemon pepper 20 pieces of chicken WITH fries.It may take a little time but it's made to go but if you call before coming 15 minutes it will already be ready and the 2 sauces was HUGE.
