“First stop on our trip. Ordered the chicken dinner. The food was hot, well seasoned, and flavorful.
The restaurant is not for you to eat in because at this time of the year, you would be uncomfortably hot.
The bathroom did not work either.
But if you want good chicken, this is the spot!“

“If I told you how good this place was in a detailed review you’d probably think I was lying. I’d rather just encourage you to not take my word for it but to challenge my word, and go there for yourself. The management, the staff, the food… not one of them will disappoint. This was my first time here, and they gained a loyal customer. Outstanding customer service backed by an equally flavorful and fresh meal. Will return! Edit: I forgot to mention we were welcomed in, and asked if it were our first time. Jay did such a fantastic job of explaining the menu and giving us a recommendation as well. During the busy lunch rush everyone was so kind, with smiles on their faces and kept the lines moving despite just how many people were inside and at the drive through. It’s always a pleasure visiting this location.“

“We didn't actually go in-person, rather got delivery through UberEats were they have a BOGO deal with *insane* value. 40 wings, delivered to Whiting, with tax and a $6 tip was $39.61!! I can't find any in-store options for <$1 per wing, let alone as delicious as these were and delivered no less. They were on the smaller side but a generous variety of flats and drums. We got 1/2 medium spiced (comes with a zesty ranch-based sauce) and 1/2 buffalo (also comes with plain ranch, and buffalo was by far our favorite. We will for sure be doing this deal again when we are near a Byrd's location!“

“This chicago girl just ate from this restaurant. After reading reviews and them saying only buy from them if the lady is behind the counter I did just that. The lady ms lisa was so nice... food was good not the best from Harold's but it was good it was also alittl pricey for a 4 wing and I spent 10.00 and some change. I will be back just not ordering the wings... thank you mslisa for your sweet customer service and thank the cook for nice food“

“What can I say about your good gas station quick grab chicken. It's always crunchy always well done and it doesn't taste right out. In my opinion it's one of the better chicken options . It's definitely cheaper than KFC or Popeyes. All the signs are delicious and I'm a sucker for those honey butter biscuits.“

“I love their chicken and how quick they are with the service. The only complaint I have is the portion of the okra. I ordered a small and it was literally 7 pieces!!! Not worth the price!!!“

“I have gotten two meals here lately and both were delicious. The service has been wonderful. My only tiny complaint is that I tried the chicken nuggets for the first time today and I think they're stringy, but of course, the original chicken I ordered is very delicious along with the cole slaw which is always amazing.

“We decided to go to Sharks today. I haven't been in a long while and boy was I impressed! It was so nice and clean. The cook definitely knows what he's doing and the young lady at the front counter was absolutely adorable. We got 20 wings with lemon pepper & fries with mild sauce on the side. The wings were sooo fresh, hot, crispy and a very nice size! The fries were amazing too!! Im a customer 4life now!“

“It’s the best food in the hood, and the best Shark’s location we’ve ever been to! I’ll drive an hour and a half any day to eat there! Open late, and always make what you like. Options for all types of diets, except meatless ones lol really though the catfish is bomb, and the lemon pepper chicken wings with the hot sauce are to die for“

“So I'm not an avid fan of KFC, but decided to try them again. Stopped here for a lunch break. Ordered a 3 piece extra crispy chicken meal. The mashed potatoes were great, even the biscuit had a little pizzazz! But the chicken itself was a bust. KFC back in the day had its own flavor vibe. One bite and instant party in your mouth. Now, not so! If KFC does not evolve its recipes for their chicken they will meet the same fate as other fast food chains.“
