Loved Aloo & cauliflower dish My partner enjoyed robust Dal dish which had veggie tidbits to round out flavor. we loved the food here. Best Indian fare in the area!”

“ABSOLUTELY must go! Such a friendly server and I felt so welcome. I really like spicy food myself but the people who cant handle spice well be cautious because they come to serve SPICE. Everything I tasted was delicious, I was sniffling and sweating but scarfing my face. Props to the only worker there, he was so sweet and gave me a free milkis. I WILL be coming back. 10/10 would recommend.”

“So delicious we wrote this review! We tried a variety of things- potstickers, Yakisoba, kimbop, and some sushi rolls. Everything was fresh, very flavorful, with lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Server was knowledgeable, service was quick, prices were reasonable. We wish we lived closer to go more often but it’s worth the drive!”

“Highly recommend trying Merienda’s. I went there based on a recommendation from a friend. Loved the vibe, mom/pop, cute restaurant, with a lot of delicious options. Tried the spicy shrimp with garlic rice, pancit, ube latte with oat milk, pink calamansi lemonade, & mango cheesecake. Delicious! Will definitely go back to try other dishes. Very reasonably priced for the portion size. The guy at the register was friendly & enthusiastic with helping us select our entree.”

When we’re with a group, we like to sit at a table, but when it’s just me and my husband, the bar is our go-to spot. The servers and bartenders are always fantastic.

The oysters are fresh and delicious, and the foie gras is served just the way I love—with toast and jam.

The caesar salad is quite good, with a nice touch of pickled sardines.

So far, our favorite entrées are the burger, steak frites, and walleye.

We’re already looking forward to our next visit!”

“First time here and love it! I used to live in Arlington Heights and was driving by for an appointment. There used to be a Starbucks. I got the gingerbread latte and the papa Nicholas sandwich. Yum 😋 Such a great cause for the community as well. 😃”
