“Crumble. Great tasting cookie, horrible for you. Not a fan of the Tinley Park location. Closed Sundays n then cookies are so thick they cook funny n get hard fast. Not like other locations alot thicker of a cookie. Ends up cooking funny due to the thickness as well. Makes it not as fresh like my normal crumble. Unless they were sitting due to the new everyday flavors. Which its about time crumble. Try the pink icing cookie, love it. Be ready for a sugar rush, possibly too much. I love it but not the best for you.“

“Yesterday I took the Sourdough Breadmaking Class with Chef George at The Ancestral Oven and I just pulled an amazing loaf of bread out of my home oven 24 hours later! Chef George provided all the necessary instruction and supplies - including a lively starter - for students to start their own sourdough journey at home. The class included hands-on experience feeding the starter, as well as folding and shaping the dough. I had a great time at the class and can't wait to return to try out the breakfast and lunch menu at The Ancestral Oven Bakery and Cafe.“

The employee was very helpful asking me what type flavors do I like and suggested the caramel pecan bun which was great because I like sweet and salty. She also saw me with other shopping bags and asked if I would like a plastic bag to hold everything together to make it easier on me. Such great service“
