“I was in on a Friday and had the fish. It was very good. The hot Bbq sauce was nice to add to the fish. The fries were good but the fish was so much food I barely had room for sides. This restaurant is off the beaten path in a commercial park. The lot was filled with workers on a Friday. A testimonial to a good plate for the price“

“Greetings; in writing my review of Rob's Pit Barbeque in Carteville Illinois, I must say that those was the best tasting Rib Tips I've eaten since I was a little boy back in a small town in Arkansas. The meat was perfectly seasoned, thick, tender and juicy. The to-go plate was sufficient, although I could've eaten more, lol. Overall; everything was perfect, salute to the cooks, and hostess! There's no need for me to go anywhere else for my Rib Tips. I'll see you all again soon, when I bring the family and friends; thanks.“

“Talk about generous portions!! This place was awesome! It's a small restaurant with huge flavor. Service was nice. Good sense of humor. Food was banging! Such complex and well developed flavors. Sushi was fresh. This is a secret that should get out! Eat this!! We WILL be back.“

“I have visited Chuck’s a good amount and the food has NEVER disappointed! The serving staff has always been great with my kiddos and has always communicated well if there’s an issue. I am also extremely addicted to their catfish bites. I would topple kingdoms for a plate of those….😅 Also, good size portions!“
