“The perfect Sunday afternoon drive! Burnt Ends provided fuel for the journey. We chose a sample platter with hushpuppies and onion rings as sides. Fall of the bone ribs, Juicy pulled chicken, spicy hot link, and delicious brisket. The hushpuppies were perfectly seasoned, and the batter on the onion rings crisp and delicous. The sauces:sweet heat-balanced and my favorite. The mustard sauce paired perfectly with the brisket. A must stop in!!Enjoying life 1 sip, 1 bite, and 1 small town at a time. Explore everything!“

“Great Friday night fish place. It has a limited Lent Menu during this season but I think it is one of the Best!!! The fried pickles are a MUST appetizer!!! And the House Salad with the homemade Ranch Dressing ummm Yes please! The fish is hot and crispy and just right!! I opted for a bake potato and glad I did. I can't say enough about this place!!! If you are looking for a different place during Lent please stop in at Mr BBQ (Waterloo location)“

“Nice relaxing place to Stay. I would definitely recommend this place especially if you are a boater or a fisherman or someone that just wants to sit next to the river and relax. Some sites might be a little tight for bigger rigs. I'm pulling a 35 ft fifth wheel with a F350 crew cab, 8 foot bed. I fit just fine!April 12, 2024“
