“Tapas del Lago is worth a visit in Highwood! This cozy, casual spot serves up delicious tapas perfect for sharing. The inviting facade, complete with a charming patio and rustic tables, sets the tone for a lovely evening. Our server, Gio, was outstanding - knowledgeable about the wines and tapas, and happy to guide us through the menu. We enjoyed his favorite picks, including octopus, gambas, and scallops, paired with a fantastic blend of Garnacha and Syrah. Even without dessert cravings, we ended up ordering another drink and that's how great the experience was! Perfect for date nights or family dinners, Tapas del Lago is a must-visit for sharing good food and making memories. Can't wait to go back and try more tapas!“

“We dined at Froggy’s on Valentine’s Day, and had a wonderful time! This was our first time ever here, even though Froggys has been here for over 40 years! The interior is warm and inviting and we were welcomed in and seated promptly. Our server Peter was terrific all night, personable, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was truly a delight! We had Beef Wellington and Chicken Cordon Blue. Both were delicious and our overall experience was really great. We highly recommend this place and we will be back!“

“My first visit to Inovasi and it did not disappoint! Our server Lucia was fantastic- knowledgeable friendly and she helped me find just the right cocktail! We started with their delicious bread, and then had the crispy pork belly for appetizer. For entree we had a filet with shaved truffles and a blackened cod with lime and whipped edamame. Both were superb as was the dessert of flourless chocolate cake with raspberry purée and shipped goats cheese, and a pumpkin cheesecake. All was delicious, and the ambiance and decor was warm and inviting. We will be back!“

“Wow this new location is amazing, great bar and inside dining area, a large covered and shaded patio area and a private room that’s perfect for corporate or private parties of up to 40 people. The food and wine was as fantastic as always and the service was tremendous. One of my favorite places to go whenever I am in the area.“

“3 categories of 5 stars: food, service, and atmosphere. My first visit with 2 other "firsts" and one "vet"...everyone enjoyed their meals and the service was top-notch. No glass went empty or even came close. Recommendations were excellent, food was delicious, servers and wait staff helpful, courteous and smiling ?. The sage butter...my mouth is watering again just thinking about it. Thank you, C and C...I will Definitely be back and wholeheartedly recommend dining here. Excellent. No room for dessert, but they all looked amazing as well. I looked at other dishes around the restaurant as they came out and want to try several dishes just from seeing them. Worth the price of $30-50 a meal.“

“In a town known for great steak restaurants, EJs, is my favorite. Their steaks and seafood are outstanding, their sides and desserts wonderful, and their wine list never disappoints. Throw in a cozy atmosphere with wood paneling and the smell of the fireplace. The best part is the service. From the moment you arrive until you get back in your vehicle their service is unmatched with a staff of professionals who have been there for years. I highly recommend EJs and look forward to our next visit!“

“This is one of my husband’s and my favorite place! We were a big fan of Creperie St. Germaine so we are so happy that they haven’t completely changed the delicious menu and the interior is the same cozy place we love! And the crepes are to die for! This place is freaking AWESOME!!!“

“A very pleasant “go-to” for a meal. Food is very good. Service is friendly but can be spotty depending. Location at Wilmette Golf Course is very nice with large windows overlooking golf course and outside seating. In the winter, the fireplace warms the view. Recommend.“

“10 out of 10. Upon arrival, Diamond greeted us with a smile. Diamond had received the note I previously sent to the restaurant about the birthday person being handicapped. To our surp 10 out of 10. To our surprise, we were given a private room that was decorated with lovely birthday sparkles throughout the table. Our hostess Tina was amazing. Our party of 8 never waited for service, never ignored and were checked on throughout our dining experience. Food excellent, cooked to perfection, the vegan of the group was pleased with the selections. Cocktails perfect and dessert was delicious. Bread pudding scrumptious!!!! Ruth's Chris Northbrook is stellar!!! Of my many many reservations here, this one by far was the BEST!!! Thank you!!“

“OUTSTANDING! What an amazing place that has been around and in the same family for decades. We all had homemade pasta including the gluten-free option and they were all delicious and authentic. We had just returned from Italy the prior week and it felt like we were still there! KUDOS to the family and Chef.“
