“We’re so fortunate to have this gem of a local bakery nearby. My celiac daughter loves that she can eat ANYTHING from here. I’m not GF, and I think everything is delicious too. We love Sweet Ali’s!“

“Sandwiches here are PREMIUM. You are paying more because you are getting more. Could they drop the cost of each sandwich 2-3 dollars? Sure, but you’re guaranteed your value if you order their chicken Parmesan style sandwhich. The Coppola. They filled this thing with a solid amount of chicken filets and it was delicious. I eat a lot and was only able to down half of it. Saved the rest for later so it provided me 2 meals. I think it’s a little silly that it’s one of the cheaper sandwiches considering it’s bigger. The only negative to my experience here was the fact that this is being ran out of the side of Il Poggiolos bar. The entrance door looks legitimate but once u enter it’s very tight and uncomfortable especially when Poggiolo is packed. Other than that I definitely recommend checking this place out!“

“OMG WOW! Amazing bakery! I go to tons of bakeries & I think this is the best one in Oak Park & one of the best in Chicagoland! I LOVED everything I tried from the cookies, to muffins to scones. Super high quality & extremely fresh products. Some of the pastries were still warm from the oven as I got there right at 8 am when they open. Even then, there was a little line out the door. Many people got coffee drinks but I didn’t this time. They also have $2 wonky cookies (just weirdly shaped cookies) that are a great deal. I tried: chocolate chip cookie, banana bread, vegan chocolate muffin (extra delish), goat cheese chili scone (excellent) & the wonky birthday cookie (amazing & buttery - melts in your mouth). Can’t wait to go back & try other things! Please note the place is tiny with only a few tables & chairs & there’s metered street parking so I took my order to go.

10.25.24 update: the kale salad done is truly amazing! The toasted coconut cake was sooo good and the chiffon cake was delightful. The savory corn biscuit was good but I preferred the scone, which is totally worth traveling for.“

Much smaller and worse of all , what happened to the chocolate coating on the donuts. Did you run out? They use to be smothered with chocolate. Very disappointed.“

When I went for the first time I needed a seller because this work like self service, they help me and were so kind. Cookies are expensive but so delicious. The store is too small and it’s confuse because there are two lines, one for order and one for pickup, because of the size of the store it’s kind a mess“

“Great place to get all your yummy cakes, cookies, pastries and focaccia. Love going to the bakery on the weekend to get what I need for the week. Weekend girls are great, friendly and polite. They always keep the place clean and organized and stocked. Fanni ,#1, is the best! Anytime I go in there by myself or with my family, she always has a smile on her face. I love how she greets her customers and knows them by their first name. Make sure you go in and try all their goodies. Just a reminder, they only take cash.“

Fresh bread, fresh ingredients, I even watched her snip a few basil leaves off their basil plant in the front window for my sub. Just a really fantastic little shop. Be aware it is cash only but please don't let that stop you.“

“Our family absolutely loves Bb's donuts! We do miss being able to go inside the donut shop. So many wonderful memories taking our little girl there to eat donuts and read a book or two. We have a little boy with Autism and it's not safe for him to sit in front by the busy street because he runs. “DeliPan on Harlem and Schubert THIS IS THE BEST BREAD IVE EVER HAD! They got a new customer, my kids and my wife were so happy! And señora Martha was really nice and helpful. I had never tasted the Guatemalan bread and now it’s probably one of my favorite! 100/100 recommend. Also they’re taking a lot of extra precautions during all of this. I stayed in my car for a minute and they went and wiped the doors and bread cabinets, Thanks DeliPan!!“
