“I am new to the area and searched for a bakery that would make a confetti cake for a friend's birthday. This was the only bakery in the area that would take an order with 3 days notice.
I was soooo pleasantly surprised with the cake when I picked it up! I asked for "girly" decorations. This cake was so beautiful! The pictures don't do it justice! It was pretty and girly and sparkly... and absolutely delicious! I will definitely be back!“

“Visited for the first time today and it was such a great experience from the moment we walked in the door. Staff was incredibly friendly and we were offered samples of their amazing chocolate chip cookie. Haneen (I hope I spelled that right!) has an amazing energy about her and made my husband and I feel very welcome. She also gave my husband one of their drinks on the house though he loved it so much we ended up buying another one in a bigger size before we left. Prices are incredibly reasonable as well. Worth the diabetic coma I might fall into as a T2 later today, that's for sure. Will definitely be a repeat customer very soon!“

When I went for the first time I needed a seller because this work like self service, they help me and were so kind. Cookies are expensive but so delicious. The store is too small and it’s confuse because there are two lines, one for order and one for pickup, because of the size of the store it’s kind a mess“

“OMG! A hidden gem! No body told me (in my Ricky Smiley's voice) I Just happen to Google, a bakery near me and low and behold Brown Shuga pop up in my search. I stopped in and was surprised at the variety of desserts they offered. This is the best bakery ever! And I come from a family of awesome baking. The desserts not only looked good, they were simply amazing! Everything I ordered was fresh, authentic, and over exceeded my expectations! “Beautiful Asian style cakes with delicate flavours. We ordered the matcha #2 cloud cake and it certainly was like biting into one. The filling was made with fresh cream and we appreciated the softness of the sponge. However, the matcha flavour was not strong enough and we wished that the sponge had a bit more structure, so that it bites like a cake rather than a trifle. The cake was also a bit pricey.“

“For our wedding of 100 people, we went with a simple 2-tier cake with white frosting, one layer was almond and raspberry and the other was peaches and cream. It was delicious and reasonably priced compared to other quotes I had been sent. I also picked up some scones for my bridesmaids to eat while getting ready before the wedding and they were so yummy! “I was waiting for my cookies when I observed a worker who was rolling dough. She stepped away from the dough table, and went on her personal phone, then immediately went back to touching the dough. Wearing the same pair of gloves the entire time. I made a comment that she should probably switch gloves if she is going to touch her personal phone and then peoples food. Just wanted to be sure it doesn’t happen again. That’s gross.“

“This is the 2nd year I've placed a delivery order with NBC for my daughter at Wheaton Univ. to share with her friends. The mini bundts were extremely well-liked. I considered going elsewhere, this year, but nobody else could do a last min. order. So, I went with NBC, again. I felt guilty looking elsewhere! The owners are so nice and accommodating. The flavors are so amazing! And, once again, my daughter is the most popular girl in her friend group for, at least, a day thanks to NBC!“

Sure, but you’re guaranteed your value if you order their chicken Parmesan style sandwhich. The Coppola. They filled this thing with a solid amount of chicken filets and it was delicious. I eat a lot and was only able to down half of it. Saved the rest for later so it provided me 2 meals. I think it’s a little silly that it’s one of the cheaper sandwiches considering it’s bigger. The only negative to my experience here was the fact that this is being ran out of the side of Il Poggiolos bar. The entrance door looks legitimate but once u enter it’s very tight and uncomfortable especially when Poggiolo is packed. Other than that I definitely recommend checking this place out!“

I'm still very impressed with how responsive the owner, Norma, was to my emails and appreciate how thoughtful she was. She asked if I wanted to include a personal message to my sisters and brother-in-law, and I found out today that all of them really enjoyed the cupcakes. I can only imagine how hard it must be for small businesses like this one during these unprecedented times, but I'm glad that I was able to surprise my sisters and support them at the same time. “My husband and I have been coming here since they opened and we are regulars here. Favorites: chicken caesar sandwich, popeye omelet in a wrap, mushroom bisque soup and any salad. So many food choices though soups tend to be sold out around 2pm.Staff works hard to keep the line moving (very busy when LT lets out), and to keep the place clean. Miguel, Ketta, Marie and Ari have have been there for years...nice to deal with people who "know your name."“
