“I got the yellow curry and it was amazing! I was in the mood for thai and tried this spot randomly and it did not disappoint. The servings are huge, perfect for leftovers. We also got the chicken satay and it was big juicy pieces of chicken. Can't wait to come here again.“

“I’m so glad we tried Lemongrass Thai – and it’s still newly opened! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. The seating is super comfortable, and I loved that the lighting inside is soft and cozy (not those harsh bright lights you get at most places).

The food? Absolutely delicious – full of fresh, bold flavors. We ordered a few dishes they were impressive, although we didn't like the coconut soup being too sweet for our taste. The prices are more than fair for the quality and portion sizes. And don’t skip the cocktails – their mixed drinks are strong, creative, and reasonably priced.

This place is already a favorite for us. Can’t wait to come back!

Curry flavor wasn’t very strong. But the Chicken Satay was tasteful and it was great.

“Had a great experience at VIP Thai Cuisine! The food was excellent, fresh, and full of flavor. I ordered the Crazy Noodles and the Tom Yum soup, and both were delicious. The Crazy Noodles had the perfect balance of spice and flavor, while the Tom Yum was rich, aromatic, and very satisfying. The service was friendly, and the restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere. “I find some of the low reviews here baffling. I think some people may be confusing this restaurant with other Chinese restaurants due to its rather non descript name. Make no mistake, the food here is excellent and punches way above its price point.Coming in the first time I was pessimistic. It seemed your standard pre prepared food menu ready to dish out quickly to the lunch crowd panda express style. I quickly became a huge fan after eating large well prepared portions I would expect from a normal sit down restaurant. Yes it's your standard generic fare but made so much better.Great food, great price. Appreciate these places, the owners care about making something good.“

“You MUST visit Mai Thai!! I was in town for a work conference and walked over to this place, since it was nearby. I ordered the Panang Noodles off website and got it as takeaway.

I cannot express in words how delicious this curry was!! The curry was a nice blend of sweet and peppery. The lemongrass was just enough to give it a nice fresh taste. Since I ordered this to go, the fried noodles came in separate box. This is my first time trying panang noodles, so I’m not sure if fried noodles is standard, but let me tell you having the noodles fried added such a nice complexity to this dish. 100/10

Sad that I don’t live closer, otherwise I would be here every week. Next time I come to Chicago, I am stopping here first!!“
