“The food was fine but the orange chicken did not have the slight spicy taste to it. The fried green beans would good and not heavily fried. Plenty of rice was served with our meal. The hostess and our waitress, Lilian, were very friendly and attentive and provided excellent service.“

“This was my first time trying this place, and it did not disappoint! I ordered the dinner special with general tso’s chicken, and it was amazing!! I’m usually picky with chicken but this one was made so well, and the fried rice was perfect. I requested no egg in the fried rice and a vegetable egg roll, and they were so kind and considerate to not only honor my requests but label them too!! I was worried about this because not every place is careful enough, and it can ruin your whole meal when not done right but this place did. The food was delicious, piping hot (even though my DoorDash driver had to make multiple stops before mine!), and an amazing value for the amount of food you get. The Thai iced tea was the cherry on top! 10/10 thank you for a perfect comfort meal after a long day“

“Chen’s is my new go to chinese take out!! You guys have to try this place, 10/10 would recommend! The food is delicious and the service is AMAZING!! Well kept restaurant and the owners a hoot, funniest guy ever!! But the star of the show, their egg rolls!! BEST egg rolls ever!! And DONT even mention their, fire, as the kids say, fried rice!! So much variety!! Have to give this place a try. They will NOT disappoint. Count on seeing me again!!“

“This is the second time we've ordered from here, and the food tastes great.
We ordered KUNG BAO DELIGHT, and it was very tasty, and the portion was very large.
We also ordered COMBINATION FRIED RICE, and it tasted great, but I asked to make spicy, and they didn't prepare it properly.
We also ordered EGG ROLLS, and they were delicious and a good size, but the CRAB RAGOONS were good, but a little over-fried.

Pagoda is our go-to place in Lockport, though we don't get to order from you as often as we would like. The food was delicious last night; we particularly enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken. I had asked for extra pineapple in the sauce and was very happy that your team was able to make that happen.

“We just dined in the renovated Hunan Inn and loved it. We’ve been getting takeout from here for 20 years and have dined in many times, and were curious what the newly reopened restaurant would be like. We couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised - we got a few of the same dishes we’ve ordered for years, as well as a couple new ones to test it out. The quality of the meat and seafood is on another level now; the batter on the chicken is fresh and crispy; giant, meaty shrimp made the fried rice even better; and the Mongolian beef was tender (not spongy or fatty) and the sauce was caramelized perfectly. The crab Rangoon were lighter and had a noticeably more authentic crab flavor, and were delighted that our favorite egg rolls seem to have stayed exactly the same! We also tried the new mango sago snow ice which we will definitely get again — a really light and not too seeet way to finish the meal. Overall couldn’t be happier with the new and improved Hunan Inn.“

“Food is fresh and excellent. I find it to be one of the best in the area. Non greasy, good flavor, service is ok, but when they attend to you, you have their undivided attention. I have been there a few times, and it does not vary. It is also very clean, with large tables and booths.“

“This was my first time ordering from them. I had ordered Mongolian beef at a similar restaurant before, but I liked it more at this restaurant. First, the portion was big and you can tell they don’t skimp on the meat. Second, the staff were polite. Thank you. If I’m nearby again, I’ll order again. The only thing is, you forgot to include forks and spoons. I had my own, but if I didn’t have spare utensils, that would have been disappointing. Overall, I liked everything, and the restaurant’s atmosphere was nice too.“

“Been wanting to try this place for the past year and a half. Finally had dinner there. I love good Chinese food but am very picky where I eat it from. This was the best Chinese food I've had in a very long time. Served hot znd was high quality meat and vegetables that were fresh. It was actually clean there too which is rare to see anymore. “Our Friendship Luncheon group had 30 people at its January gathering there yesterday. They only had 1 waiter taking orders, so it was 4 diners at a time. Food came quickly after ordering, but last table had ordered 30 minutes after the first.“

“I’m way overdue w a review. Ordered from here for delivery countless times and they NEVER disappoint! Always quicker than expected with delivery and arrives super hot. Just tried the Beef with Bok Choy and they knocked it out of the park.“

“i travel over 45 minutes just to get my chinese food from here. the largest portion of chicken fried rice i’ve ever gotten and very good sauce with the sweet and sour chicken. the potstickers and crab rangoon were also very tasty. i enjoy having leftovers for the week and even reheated it’s great. by far one of the best places for food“

“They have great luncheon specials with generous portions and a free egg roll. I love hot and spicy dishes; my favorite is Kung Pao Beef which has a ton of flavor (nice heat), a lot of beef, peanuts and very tasty fried rice. I also like their Shrimp Egg Foo Yung. The other reviewer here is totally wrong. Either he needs to add soy sauce or maybe he was going through chemotherapy and had lost his sense of taste. Their service is also terrific and if you phone in your order ahead of time it will be piping hot ready for pickup iun about 15 minutes within 15 minutes.“

“We recently visited for my bday on 5/31. The decor is beautiful and the service was stellar! Everyone was attentive and friendly. Our hibachi chef was amazing. He was extremely entertaining and super accommodating. He made our hibachi dinner experience the best we have ever had. The food was perfect and great portion sizes. My son even ordered Spider rolls and said they were amazing! My two teens and 1yr old enjoyed it immensely! Thank you all for the great celebration. We will be back for sure!!! “After Golden Chopsticks closed down, I found this place and it is honestly just as good, if not better, than Golden Chopsticks!

Parking: Parking can be an issue depending on time of day. Parking spots are always available, but sometimes you need to park in front of a store a few doors down.“

“It’s way /way/ easier getting food here than the one in Matteson. I wouldn’t get carry out around 5 pm though, unless you want to deal with them getting overly defensive.

They asked me for the name, I showed them the confirmation page, they said okay and went to look at the bag and then they asked me for my name again. Told them my name and then I was further asked for the last four digits of my number.

That was way too much of a hassle when Panda Express in general is a 6 most of the time, sometimes 7.“

“Came by earlier today, first time at this location. Chow mein noodles were so dry ): pls add more of the sauce it usually comes with. Watermelon-Mango refresher was good, but it did have a lighter taste than other locations. Not watered down, but it’s usually stronger/tastier. Fast drive through and sweet service though thank you :) just pls more saucy chow mein“

“We called just 5 minutes before and were still able to get a reservation on a Saturday at 5:30 PM, which was awesome! Our server was great and super friendly, and the food was delicious. The portions are a great size and the prices are really reasonable. Definitely worth checking out!“
