“I had brunch here today with a friend, first time here. I had the corned beef benedict and not only was it the best corned beef I've ever had in my life, but the orange juice was amazing, the service was great, and the value was fabulous also! Will definitely be back and plan to possibly go once a week with friends! 10 out of 10 recommend!“

“I am not notable, so my opinion may be of little consideration for most. This stated, the pancakes I've had here rival some of the best I have ever tasted. This is without mentioning the Chorizo, the eggs, and their choice of spices and peppers. The food here as of this date 6/30/26, is some of the best food I have had.“

“I've frequented most of the breakfast spots in and around Palos Heights, and Lumes Pancake House is definitely my favorite. The servers are friendly and fast, and the food is some of the best I've had. You really can't go wrong with their veggie skillet!“

“Three of us routinely indulge in breakfast at Diamond and are never disappointed with the great food and excellent service. Portions are substantial and made with top notch ingredients, served hot and fresh. Our favorite waitresses are Rachel and Teresa, but all the staff are good. I'm a huge fan of the pancakes, sausage and eggs combination, which is served at a bargain price including coffee on Tuesday and Thursday. Diamond also offers many lunch options.“

“I always love coming here & frequently do when I want a good hearty meal or bringing friends. We are always kindly greeted & welcomed when arriving. It smells wonderful & makes us more hungry! We are served a cup of soup (gratis) with every meal including breakfast (their soups are delicious). The staff is friendly & always accommodating. Our food is served hot in generous proportions & for the price (very reasonable compared to other restaurants of this kind), it can’t be beat. Greek owned, the hospitality & food is reflective of the Greek Culture, representing pride, family, community, friendship, kindness & duty of service that is offered to their guests. This is known as Philotimo (pronounced “Fi-ló-timo” [Fee-low-timo]).“

“Ordered the half order of biscuits and gravy meal The biscuits were soft and fresh, gravy was flavorful, scrambled eggs were soft and fluffy, and bacon perfectly crisp. Food was seasoned well and not overly salty. Orange juice was cold and refreshing but very small. My only complaint would be there was a LOT of gravy compared to the size of the biscuits, making the biscuits appear much larger than they actually were. Overall, really great breakfast. Would definitely order it again.“

“Fresh coffee!! None of that nasty burnt rubber tasting stuff you get from other places.
Service was exceptional, the waitresses were prompt and I was seated with no wait time.
Pricing was fair, especially for the portion sizes. The Irish plate will have you eating like royalty and is reasonably priced.
The pancakes were fluffy and perfectly done.
Definitely an Oak Lawn hidden gem.“

“I visited Waffle for the first time today (was recommended by a friend) and it was wonderful! Alexa, my server, was kind, swift, personable and gave great suggestions. I had the house omelette with, of course, a waffle, and it was delicious. The price point was also super pleasing. A great neighborhood gem!“

“First time Golden Bear in Lansing. The food and service was great. However, when I checked my bank account I was charged $9.98 more then the amount on the receipt I received from the register. When I went back the manager was very nice & helpful. She refunded the $. The restaurant receipt had the same amount. I pulled up my bank account & showed her the amount from my bank. We both thought it was so strange! Maybe the register malfunctioned? Again the manager was awesome!“

“I had an amazing experience at Batter & Berries! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff made sure everything was perfect without being overbearing. The food was outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every bite tasted homemade and thoughtfully prepared. One standout you absolutely cannot miss is their homemade hot sauce. It has the perfect balance of heat and flavor and takes the meal to a whole new level. If you’re looking for a spot with delicious food, top, tier service, and a memorable house made touch, Batter & Berries is definitely worth the visit. I’ll definitely be back!“

“While visiting Chicago for the holiday weekend we stopped in at The Original Pancake House. We had great service, awesome food. Our favorite was the Pancakes with Fresh Strawberries and whip cream. We will visit again when in Chicago! Great place.“

“I’m not much of a review writer but the waitress asked me to share my experience and it was a pleasent experience. I ordered the Athena omelette which was very tasty. My friend ordered buttermilk pancakes which were also good, but it’s hard to mess up pancakes anyways. I tried the fresh pineapple juice and my friend had the watermelon juice. Both were very good, the service was great and Alice did an amazing job. Just wish the juices were free refills. Overall, this is why I continue to visit Mr. Stacks“
