The olace wA nicely set up with cloth napkins with that table dressed for invited guessed. place was clean and sparkling. I didn't have no idea what kind of place we was at. looking at the menu so many things I wanted. had a taste for a Greek salad but decide to go for the pita. Not sure of side dish the very nice waiters recommended the vegetables. Tired of fries and wanting so.ething different and her saving they have good vegetables I ordered. My husband ordered the Sheppard pie after back and for with the cheese steak. He got some vegetables also. my husband asked for a beer but found out it was BYOB. but quickly changed his mind when he asked about the lemonade. The sweet girl serving us (sorry forgot her name but only ine serving in Sunday 1-28-24.) I got the normal unsweetened tea. our food only taking a short time the food came out. The food was displayed on our plate as if they were eating- very nice. I must say my Gryos was best I ever tasted. I believe or taste like the pita was tasteful like a Flatbread and very fresh. The sandwich was very large making it easier to eat some on the meT and fiings with a fork. The sauce was very good knowing it was homemade and fresh not like you get in most places with a pita. There. was plenty of fresh vegetables cooked just so perfect. My husband's Pilly cheese steak was very delicious that the prime Rib used was tender and tasteful. Again the sauce was homemade with you can tell for the sandwich as it had a bit of hoursy sauce to it. Before I needed my waiters was there checking to make sure everything wS ok, if we needed anything. we let her know it was perfect she offered a refill on my tea when she noticed it was low. we was very happy with our meal and the price was very normal of everywhere around even though it was a upscale little nicer place than your ever run around the corner place.“
“I totally judged the name of this place and wasn’t expecting anything special. We during late breakfast and place was packed and I thought it would take forever for our food. I was wrong! Our waitress was outstanding and greeted us immediately and quickly got our drinks. We started with the saganoki which was perfect. Our food came out very quickly the cinnamon buns were delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The waitress was on top of everything and never missed a refill. Can’t remember the last time we had a waitress so attentive!“

“What can I say other than absolutely delicious my husband loves his salad and his mashed potatoes he said they were good. Me and him split the Cesar chicken wrap and the only thing that I had a problem with was the lettuce was a little warm. I'm weird about my lettuce, being cold in my wraps and crunchy but other than that it was absolutely delicious The flavors were on point! The tenderloin sandwich was incredible and tender. the fries were good, but the star of the show was these beautiful ribs me and my husband finished them off like animals! Best ribs I've had in a while!! Literally fell right off the bone and just fell apart in my mouth. I didn't even care that I was getting barbecue sauce everywhere. Even shared some with my cat lol She freaked out! The barbecue sauce is just divine!!!!! And that carrot cake was so good had to stop myself because I could eat the whole slice! My husband doesn't even like carrot cake and he said it was good!! And we got the fried mushrooms for our appetizer and they were decent, fresh and hot. All in all highly recommend this restaurant! “Great food and fantastic service. Chatted at the pitmasters when first came in and as we left after eating at a picnic table outside. Owner was there taking care of lunch for his employees with food from somewhere else. Nice touch and was a super nice and BBQ chatty owner. :)The Brisket was very well smoked if a bit salty but I am fine with that. I thought it was brined first but was assured it was not. The chicken, pulled pork and ribs were all great as well with good smoke. The spicy sausage was really good. Too much for my wife but not insane to me but a very nice spice bite.We got the green beans, baked beans and coleslaw as sides. The green beans were OK, nothing special to me. The baked beans were interesting. At first you get a "oh, this is a savory bean" and then the sweet comes in and it is an interesting play that finishes with a bit of heat on the back end but nothing crazy at all. With the slaw, if you like KFC's, you will like the flavor. This is a MUCH finer shred but the flavor is very similar.Overall, great BBQ joint. Seating is just a couple picnic tables outside but that was enough for us even on a cool day. We live in Peoria but my wife will be coming to Bloomington monthly for quilting fabric and I can see this being the lunch stop quite often. :)Parking: Relatively small lot - maybe 15 spots - but since it is primarily takeout this shouldn't be an issue as the turnover is pretty good. We were there late lunchtime (around 3pm) and there were 6-7 spots.“
“Small high windows, make daylight a jewel in this classic roadside bar. Tall diner stools and sturdy tables will not easily be knocked over. The friendly bar staff keeps the food and drink coming to to the guests. My beef sandwich and large mug of coffee were very tasty and just what I needed before getting back on the road.“

“So, the oysters and the mussels were very good. I’m pretty sure the sourcing of all ingredients is very thoughtful. Even the potatoes were exceptional. We like the use of what turned out to be turnips. Everything was cooked well. I like that they are inspired by April Bloomfield, one of my favourite chefs. However, the entrees weren’t anything special. I guess it was more comfort food, and disappointing after the awesome starters. They were accommodating and made a kind of gravy. I did like the lightly fried potato slabs. The non alcoholic drinks weren’t great. And the dessert, while clearly made with good ingredients, was not as intriguing as the description. Not sure where the peach jam was in it all. The atmosphere is fine. A little darker than I’d like, a lamp on the table or small one above our heads would have been useful. The music doesn’t go with the atmosphere. I think it’s a new restaurant, and they might also be timid due to their location, but I feel they should do more with what they have.“

“Just had the best chicken gizzards of my life today at Keller’s. Not only are gizzards usually hard to come by, but often they are chewy and dried out. These were so, so tender and the spice - incredible. Such a great lunch special, too. If you love gizzards, here you go!!“

“Just played El Paso golf club and wow ! It was very nice. I had heard that it was for years and finally got to play it for myself. U can tell immediately that they take pride in their course. The landscaping is some of the best I’ve seen. The course fairways and greens were excellent for the fall .greens were quick (which I like ) and the sand traps were excellent. Allot of rolling hills and elevation changes . A couple of holes u could call signature holes . I took pics . Definitely a great course to check out . Skyler at the clubhouse was about the best waitress u could ask for ( friendly and excellent service) . If u get a chance u should go !“

“We’re trying new places around town and decided to give this burger place a shot. I’m glad we did! It seemed like the owner was in when we arrived. He was very friendly and checked in with us a few times to make sure we were pleased with our food. Our burgers were delicious and fresh. We tried both the regular and Cajun fries which were also a hit, but I’m not sure they’re friendly to reheating. The coffee shake was excellent! We’ll be back for sure.“

But seems they are thinking dinner menus soon. This place was quite, and very welcoming. They provide two dinning areas, the lounge (bar- our favorite) that also has table tops for four. Emma was our server and she did a great job of making sure that we did not want for anything. The food was served promptly and was very good. I had a steak and the wife had the Halibut and both were cooked perfectly and were very tasty. The price was reasonable and the atmosphere was quiet and friendly. Overall a good experience.“

“1st time at Lake Road inn. It was Sunday Feb 4th. My wife and I walked in and immediately liked the vacation like atmosphere. Sit down at the bar where they had very friendly staff working ordered appetizers which were very good and drinks were very reasonable. We continued over to the slot machine area, which could've been a lot cleaner. We played for a little bit and had a few more drinks before heading out. I would recommend this place to friends and family for sure.“
