“I was in town for Cicada research and after a long first day, Rosie's was suggested by multiple people. I had the Special and (it was steak skewers thar night) everything was prepared beautifully. The staff are amazing. By request, I returned the favor and fed them. Fried Cicadas. kitchen staff, wait staff and bartenders. all of them are skilled and have great personalities. I will go out of my way to return. Thank you on behalf of myself and the "Name That Bug!" community.“

“Fantastic dinner tonight at the Bloomington Baxters. Had a couple drinks, the warm pretzel appetizer, and for dinner I went with pasta… the Spaghetti and Meatballs were perfect! I’d say Baxters is a great choice for a date night, a work dinner or a group of friends getting together for drinks and a meal. Plus, the service is excellent!“

“We love Bakery & Pickle! Our food is always outstanding, good service, and quality cocktails. We love their bartender Cullen. He makes the best drinks in town and will even create something unique based on our tastes. We had so much fun at the bar last night that we skipped our dinner reservations in the dining room and enjoyed our anniversary dinner at the bar. This place is always a good time with great staff, food, and atmosphere. Cullen keeps us coming back for his excellent cocktails!“

“Hyvee in Bloomington catered my wedding. They made the proccess so simple and the food was amazing. Guests were talking about it all night. Their staffed stayed and ensured the buffet was stocked and cleaned up and wrapped up all the leftovers when dinner was done. If you are wanting a delisious budget friendly food option for your event check them out!“

“Great stay here coming into town for a little work get together with my boyfriend! Loved the decor inside and how they have everything set up. Very lovely atmosphere. Greeted at the front desk promptly by Adrianna, who was super sweet and friendly. She helped to check us in, and even humored our request to upgrade our two Queen beds to a single King, as well as a room with a balcony! Which was absolutely amazing! Made our stay 10x better. Event went great, we were back at the hotel for a wonderful stay, and in the morning we had an even better experience! We woke up early to indulge in the variety of breakfast and drink choices, and the welcoming company of Barb, Margo and Sandra! These ladies are all wonderful at what they do. Barb went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed and connected with us on a meaningful level that left us feeling incredibly blessed! We are so glad to have met her and had a beautiful stay. The chef(s) and wait staff did excellent! The only minor inconveniences we had were that the lids were not properly fitting the coffee cups, and for the life of us we could not find the invisible vending machine, so I guess it’s doing its job. :P Thank you! Can’t wait to come back for a little out of town stay sometime!“

“What a perfect little place with a great atmosphere!! The goat cheese balls and the potstickers are absolutely amazing! I had a season salad which was wonderful and the strawberry ganache cake is my new all-time favorite dessert!!!! Friendly, fast service!!! Love the menu selections and the drink selection is almost impossible to choose from!! So Many Great choices!!! Give Reality Bites a try! You won't be disappointed!!!“

“First time here. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Clean inside. Plenty of seating. We went around 4pm on a Saturday, so we were almost the only people there eating. Ordered 3 meals. 2 came out correctly. Order of Buffalo wings came out as BBQ wings. Waitress apologized and returned them. Came back to tell me it would be about 13 minutes and in meantime, she would give me a complimentary appetizer...ordered garlic cheese curds (said they take 3 minutes)...In the meantime, our waitress came over and asked if we minded cashing out our tab since her shift was ending.. we paid our bill. Not long after my corrected wings arrived. Food was fresh, hot and good. Highly recommend the potato oles with nacho cheese! My complimentary appetizer NEVER arrived and our new server never came back to check on us... So... great review for our initial waitress, not so great for the one who took over. Overall our experience was fine. Worth a shot if you are in the area.“

“The food here is usually really good. It's a nice burger joint on campus located in the Student Bone Center. One thing I noticed is that some of the staff is usually unfriendly, but not all of the time. The food does take a really long time to come out though.“

“My wife and I stopped for lunch in Bloomington Illinois. We decided to have the Fish Sandwich, a friend informed us they are great. He was not wrong. Tasted fresh the cod was fantastic. My wife said it tasted better then the burgers. The staff are very professional and nice.“

6 am opening, perfect. Had steak and eggs. Exactly what I ordered. Waitress checked on me more than once after food was served. Music was 80's but not too loud to have conversation. All in all, I will be back.“

My goto is the Turkey Sandwich, I started asking for it on a Brioche bun... (the one from the chicken sandwich, which is also amazing) and its top 3 BEST sandwiches Ive ever had. Maybe number one. I used to get potato wedges with it, but recently tried the cole slaw... and its amazing. It has onions and redpeppers and I dont know what else... but it SLAPS...!!

The chicken biscuit and gravy from the brunch is a monster... The pizzas are amazing... the pasta is amazing... DESTIHL is a local gem...!! The girl at the bar, Jen is such an incredible server and such a nice person. The staff is always incredibly hospitable... I cant say enough good things about DESTIHL...!!“
