The empanada was still frozen when they served it to me but the server was so kind and gentle and immediately gave me another one that was well cooked and didn’t charge me for the wait and inconvenience. “We have been there twice. My 6 year old had a blast both times. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The coffee is delicious. One part that stood out to me both times is how well the parents monitor their children. We’ve been to similar places and had a few issues bullying. I’m not sure if it’s the layout but here you’ll see the parents actively watching, and even engaging with their kids. Thank you for providing such a safe place for our kids to play.“

“My Friends from church took me to Kim & Patty's for my birthday and although I've been their many times it was like a four-star experience. I just had 2 eggs over easy and they were truly farm fresh jumbo eggs. I am a Chef of 40 years and have never had a better restaurant experience any time than Kim & Patty's of McHenry.“

“We have been going here for a while. The other breakfast places around here are nothing compared to whistle stop. The food is always fresh, hot, friendly professional staff and every guest is treated the same which makes us feel comfortable and wecome. I have not had one bad dish everything is great. The staff have always welcomed me to the establishment an have always asked me if I wanted something to drink and or something to munch on at no cost to me no matter how much I ate or drank. That being said I’m sure there’s drinks or eats at a cost. No persons or employee has ever watched what I did or how much money I spent. I know it’s called gambling for a reason.
