“Ordered cheeseburgers and fries! The hamburger patty was not a frozen patty it was hand patted burger patty. The bar tender was supper friendly and very nice! The atmosphere was great. It wasn't packed. Very few people there really. They have music on TV and pool tables.”

“I don't miss much about my time in SoIL but gosh I miss this brunch spot. Well worth the wait for a table, just hang out at the thrift store next door. Dutch babies are to die for. The bloody Mary's here have converted so many people, they smoke their own paprika which gives it an awesome flavor. I took so many out of town visitors here because it is actually a unique and quality place, which is quite lacking in the area generally.”

“I purchased several food items from there traveling seafood store while it was in Breese last Saturday morning. For seafood the price is more than reasonable, and the products were nicely packaged, and we’ve eaten most of it already this week.

I look forward to doing more business with them in the future highly recommend visiting them the next time they’re nearby.”

“My husband and I came in on a pretty busy day and didn’t expect the personal experience and super friendly staff we encountered while there. The owner was the absolute sweetest person! We had just ate before we came so didn’t try the food but the soup smelled amazing. We did 2 tasting flights and really loved everything we tried the star for me was the red sangria we had to take a bottle home. I had tried sangrias at every winery on the trail and that was by far the clear winner of the day and the only bottle of sangria I took home. I can’t wait to go back for another visit”

“I grew up in Illinois and attended school at AJ class of 70. We raised our family in Missouri, Cape Girardeau area. We have family in Illinois. When we visit we always stop at Davis and take home goodies to share! I’ve never had a morsel of anything from there I didn’t find to be scrumptious! “My sister, daughter, and I ate at this restaurant on Saturday, June 24, 2023. The food was amazing. I'm very critical of most Mexican restaurants and do not give high marks, but this one receives 5 stars from me. The food was hot and delicious. We will be back.”

“This is a small restaurant but the menu is the same as any other Subway. They were friendly and created a nice sandwich. I did see a note on the counter where you order your food the stated that they no longer accept coupons.”
