Their Mountain Dew fountain soda tastes super fresh & you can tell they keep the lines clean. Michelle took great care of us and was very personable and helpful. “Sammy’s in Kankakee beats any other Sammy’s location. Hands down. It’s really rare for anything weird to happen to your order and the food is always fresh from this location. Delivery sometimes takes a long time but even then everything comes prepared perfectly. I would definitely give this place a try.”

“We have to travel to Chicago often and try to stop at different places to eat on the way home. We found this place in Kankakee yesterday. afterbreading some reviews, we decided to stop. The food was excellent! salad bar was cold, fresh and everything was good. soup was homemade and good. The chicken was excellent! restaurant was nice and clean and the waiter was very friendly and attentive. Give it a try!!!”

“This is probably a 3 1/2 star place but you can’t give half stars. Some of our food was excellent, well other dishes were overcooked and could’ve used a little more flavoring. Drinks were very good. we really appreciated the fact that you could carry on a conversation without having to shout. The staff made sure our needs were generally taken care of. Don’t forget their excellent breakfast! Certainly a place we would go back to in the future.”

“We had a great experience at Burgers and Beer! Classic American comfort food— I had the nachos, and my daughter had the chicken nuggets and fries. Everything tasted super fresh and delicious. Our waitress was amazing—so friendly, respectful, and attentive. She made my daughter laugh the whole time, which meant a lot to me. What really stood out was how she spoke directly to my daughter and asked her what she wanted to order, instead of asking me for her. That may seem small, but it’s a big deal to us—one of the life skills we’re working on is ordering for herself, and this made for such a positive, empowering moment. Highly recommend!”

“I order delivery every week. They do good if you just get combo but if you add extra cookie or extra chip something is often missing. They are good about sending someone back with it if you call but I don't like waisting gas and time. I love the food. Seem they need someone to double check orders before sending out. Once or twice would be big deal but it's happened almost every order.”
