“Great service! Fun atmosphere!!“

“I recently stopped in to Half & Half Lake Bluff, on a busy summer Friday night and so should you.

I have enjoyed this establishment several times, eat in and carry out, but have never done a review.

The outside patio area was already busy so I decided to just stay inside at the cozy wood bar.
The bartender was attentive and make a great old fashion and suggested a nice pilsner brew.

Ordered the spinach dip appetizer w/ the pita which was top shelf and a good starter. Moved on a bit later to enjoy their pizza (Johns pizza, sausage, pepperoni, black olives, mozzerella on that Romantate Signature Crest)

Enjoyed the food, drinks and people watching here.
Try this place, but visit early, seating and food availability may be limited in peak times

“Salad selections are better than other well known restaurants. Location set up is a little chaotic for my liking, everybody wants to crowd counter, like they're going to get the food any faster. I sat in the background patiently waiting for my food maybe 15mins but worth it. Parking was a little challenging but considering the location at
rt 176 and rt 43, its still worth it.“

“I visited Samarkand Cafe for their pilaf, and it was absolutely delicious—authentic Uzbek food full of flavor. I also loved their compote; it was refreshing and very tasty. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, with a beautiful traditional Uzbek-style interior that makes the experience feel even more authentic. If you’re looking for real Uzbek cuisine, I definitely recommend this place.“
