“I was pretty skeptical because I love sushi, but only good sushi and I have have some bad experiences with sushi in Illinois. But this place it definitely amazing and underrated. The food was amazing and the portions are perfect; the quality was very awesome and the presentation of the food made it 10 times more amazing. The workers are very nice and patient. I think that the prices are reasonable for the quality; I have paid much more for sushi that was of terrible quality. I think the variety is super intresting too and I really enjoy coming here. Definitely try this place, even if you don't like sushi, they have many options.“

“First time at Kuma's Sushi Bowl yesterday...1) Wife went there for lunch. 2) I stole some of the wife's bowl. 3) We both went back to grab two bowls for dinner, partly to pay her back for her lunch. And, I'd like to add that it's not very close from us. Great, fresh and delicious sushi bowls. Worth upsetting your significant other for!“

“The food is amazing! Love the all you can eat setup where they bring you your broth, meat and seafood then you go to the buffet tables and get all the veggies, noodles, and sauces you want. This way you don't have to commit to a large quantity of just a few vegetables. I like it because I don't like mushrooms but my partner loves them so he can get a many as he wants and I can get extra lotus root instead. This is our new favorite place to get hotpot and we will definitely be back to try all the different broths, meats and seafood.“

“Our family has been coming here for over a decade; at least a couple of times/month. Every single time the food has been consistently great and the sushi is fresh. The staff know exactly who I am when I am there and always get the “Red Carpet” treatment.“

“The care the staff takes with every single one of my orders is always top notch. From the Miso soup, to their deluxe rolls… the flavor in every bite is delicious. Even when it’s a simple take out order, the chef still takes the time to make the platter look cared for and even today, he or she wrote a little picture on the lid of my miso soup container. I am a sushi fanatic, and this place is my number one in the area. Thank you for always making my experiences with your dishes an absolute delight!“

“Great Fresh Sushi. A very popular place, so expect a wait. But the staff is quick and attentive. Skilled chefs. One of few Sushi places that do not add extra rice as fillers to make the Maki or Sushi seem bigger. Bottom line ..... Good Food.“

“Pleasantly surprised by the ambiance, food and service. I had the poke bowl which was awesome, but my favorite item was the crab rangoon. They were made like pastries (instead of the crunchy cream cheese style ones) and were phenomenal. I'd highly recommend trying them out for yourself.“

“I beg my partner to take me here as a treat. Best sushi place to dine in, at Waukegan. I love it here 😭. They have so many different options, and the food is always delicious, the presentation is always there too. The service is always friendly and quick. Things can add up pretty quickly, but I’ll definitely keep coming back for the sushi! The Foxy Roll is my new favorite. I wish they had more desert options though. It’s never hard to find parking but the roads to the parking lot could use repairs.“

“A Big Shout Out to Happi Sushi in Highland Park. We were lucky enough to try a number of their apps and rolls. Every single thing we got was SO delicious 😋. “Fuji Thai is the best restaurant in the area! I worked here for 4 years when I was younger and Ive been back as a customer every time I’m in town for the past 5 years. I can say from first hand experience, everything is clean and sanitary. The staff was always great to work with. For a first job, I couldn’t have asked for more. “I cannot say enough good things about Koya. I was so happy to find this restaurant. Everything we ordered, tempura, tempura udon soup, kids bento boxes, and sushi was incredibly good. Can't wait to go back!

“My first visit to Inovasi and it did not disappoint! Our server Lucia was fantastic- knowledgeable friendly and she helped me find just the right cocktail! We started with their delicious bread, and then had the crispy pork belly for appetizer. For entree we had a filet with shaved truffles and a blackened cod with lime and whipped edamame. Both were superb as was the dessert of flourless chocolate cake with raspberry purée and shipped goats cheese, and a pumpkin cheesecake. All was delicious, and the ambiance and decor was warm and inviting. We will be back!“
