“I came to try the meat loaf stack and my wife the steak sandwich. We thought the food was delicious, and the service was great. We arrived a little before 5 on Friday which was a good time because the restaurant filled up quickly after wards. We’ll definitely be coming back.“

“I took my boys here on a Saturday at around 4:30 after a trip to the Volo museum. We were immediately greeted by a friendly, knowledgeable and attentive waitress. The appetizer plate had the best onion rings and these creamy smoky bacon Gouda Mac n cheese bites that were to die for! Pan pizza came out as a deep dish and my teenager loved it. My oldest and I got the rib and broasted chicken combo…. OMG No regrets! The chicken was seasoned well with a delicious, crispy, light breading and the ribs were fall off the bone scrumptious with a perfect smoky/sweet bbq sauce. Do NOT skip the peach cobbler!! The warm, crispy peaches and streusel topping tasted like it was made with love. What a great place and we absolutely love our server. She was engaging and knew the menu. Will definitely return!“

The cooking here has seriously degraded in quality since 2022. Talk about flavorless! It wasn't that way just a little bit ago.
Service is still great but tipping 25% is loopy.
The place is clean and, other than for the poor cooking, well operated. Parking is still rough on weekends.“

“My fiancé and I went for breakfast at the Gurnee location yesterday. Both mens and womens bathrooms were out of order. No additional bathrooms for the employees!!! How can a restaurant be able to be open without facilities for patrons let alone the employees working an 8 hour shift!?!? Our waitress pleaded for me to call OCHEA!! She also said it is not the first time!!“

“This is the second year we’ve gotten your Thanksgiving dinner, specifically the Son of a Feast for my husband and I. Easily 6+ servings. Absolutely phenomenal! There was not a single thing that I thought was “meh” and the green beans were amazing, much improved since last year. We will continue to get these holiday dinners as long as you offer them! “We have been going here for a while. The other breakfast places around here are nothing compared to whistle stop. The food is always fresh, hot, friendly professional staff and every guest is treated the same which makes us feel comfortable and wecome. I have not had one bad dish everything is great. Their fries are really good too. Keep up the good work. My kids love you guys!

“My wife and I have become a little picky with our restaurant selection but this place was great and the food was fresh, it has fancy atmosphere with decent pricing. We have come a couple of times with my wife for their lunch specials and they are the best. Pricing is very fair for what you get. We had the 2 sushi roll option and I had the Chicken pad Thai which was great. The server was a little serious and dry but it's been great every time.

“We held a family funeral lunch at Lino’s. The staff was welcoming, attentive and very friendly as they took care of our party, which filled their banquet room. We had a couple of chicken dishes, a couple of vegetable dishes, a garden salad, potatoes, and cannoli for dessert. Our guests raved about the food, which was delicious and hot! We could not be more enthusiastic in our recommendation of Lino‘s!“

“This is the BEST sushi place I have been to. My wife and I have been coming regularly for the past year and have never had a bad experience. The staff are incredibly friendly, everyone greets you when you walk in and walk out. It’s a real special place.
The food is amazing too!!! Out of all the sushi places we have visited, this is number one and has become our go to place.
Do yourself a favor and order the miso soup! It’s the best!!“

“This is a go to spot for me and my wife just because we live right here in Hainesville. But the truth is we've tried a whole bunch of breakfast places and unfortunately for them this quaint little spot has set the bar. Great food and prompt service all the time. I wish I could tell you what to recommend but honestly you should just try stuff, there are a lot of items I like here for breakfast“

“We live 2.5 hours south of Lake Villa, but we were meeting some friends from Florida for dinner. They were in the area for their grandson’s graduation from Great Lakes Naval Academy. Found this place via Google and it had great reviews, with good reason. We wish we lived closer because it would be a favorite for sure. Probably the best bruschetta and lasagna I’ve had in a very long time. Everyone loved their entrees. We tried multiple pasta dishes and the pizza. Prices were very reasonable and our service was exceptional. Excellent dining experience all around. Highly recommend.“
