“My waiter was good and friendly. I sat in covered patio. I ordered a spring salad with shrimp. blackberries, grapefruit, candied pecans, arugula and berry vinaigrette and a side of Mac n cheese. The salad was missing the pecans but I forgot until I left, I thought something was missing. However, the shrimp was perfectly cooked. The ratio of shrimp to half portion was good. Mac N Cheese was ok. Noodles were undercooked and some still hard/crunchy edges and cheese sauce was just average and a bit gritty/thick. However, I was not expecting my meal to be served with plastic wrapped plastic utensils. a take home box for salad and a take home container for dining in. That was disappointing. the table of eight next to me was a bit shocked too to get their meals in to go cardboard containers.“

Lake perch fish fry was fantastic as were the grilled shrimp and curly fries. Can’t wait to go back on a nice day and sit outdoors with a beautiful lake view!“

“Hideout Pub & Grill is a fun place for Karaoke night, 🎤 and I believe that it's 4 nights a week. Service is usually slow, food is okay, and drinks are always good. The staff is very friendly and the Karaoke KJ 🎤 is very good and keeps things moving nicely. I will go back for karaoke night 🌙“

“Went for broasted chicken and it was terrific. Light crispy crust and delicious moist meat inside. The chips are house made, light and tasty. I had their house made soup -yum! The kitchen knows its stuff! Basically a bar with some tables but also some outdoor seating and big windows so it feels open. Really happy we came here! “went here this morning for a couple of drinks with my friend and the bartender Susan was so nice, fun to talk to, and made our experience. definitely will be back for her. the crowd at the bar was also very chill & respectful, so it wasn’t obnoxious or too loud inside and gave us a chance to relax and catch up. they just have basic food options like mozz sticks or burgers, but the food was yummy, drinks were cold, and it’s always just nice to be served by anybody who’s so down to earth and personable. 🤗“

“I had a chance to swing in last week and it's a nice, comfortable setting. The food was excellent if you are interested in Austrian/German bites. The people working here were super nice compared to similar tyes of places in the area. They even had a 50% off beer special going on! I will be returning for sure.“

“We hosted an end of the season tackle football banquet for 50 people in the party room at JJ Twig’s in Wauconda tonight. Tiffany was a dream to work with — super responsive, accommodating, and had great insight into just how much food to order. The party room was the perfect private venue that allowed our rambunctious group of 10 year old boys some space to roam without disturbing other diners. Food was good — we ordered pizzas, baked mostaccioli, meatballs, chicken tenders and salad. Compared to other local venues we considered, JJ Twig’s is a real value. Along with the good food and great service, JJ Twig’s is the full package!“

“This is a great hang right above the theater, in a beautiful, historic building. It’s a well known and well loved establishment in downtown Arlington Heights. Sure, there are rules (be leery of patron reviews who can’t stand to be chided for breaking legal rules!), but everyone needs to feel SAFE while having fun. I’ve seen too many great bars in downtown buildings get completely trashed by entitled people. I, my family and friends have been here many times and have never had a bad experience! Support and respect your local bars!“
