“This restaurant is a hidden gem in the area! If it’s less than 5 stars then its vastly underrated. The fish fry on Friday in Lent was way better than expected, excellent teriyaki salmon dinner and karaoke entertainment by the locals that were extremely talented! (super encouraging also) We’re coming next Friday without fail 7pm“
“This place is one of our favorite places in the area. Everyone who works there is amazing, knowledgeable, friendly, fun, they clearly love the work they do. The beer is awesome, I have my seasonal favorites but always find something good. Love the food trucks, special events, mug club, the vibes, the customers, the family friendly environment and my dog loves it there too!“

“Jackie and the team are fantastic! Everything here is house made! We had multiple sauces, meats, cornbread, chips and salsa, Mac n cheese and curry - all of which were enjoyed! I came here with multiple family members and clearly need to get back to sample dessert. They have good kids’ meal options plus a little gift area. Very clean and extremely nice service. Must try it all!“

“The food in Bimbo restaurant is delicious , well prepared. Wish it was a little bit more variety of dishes with vegetables. Salads kind of boring, no eggplants dishes at all. About design of the rooms. One long room where we were sitting has no wall decor at all, one wall was from bricks and 3 walls dark color. One window with blinds which makes this room so dark if you want to close them from sundown of bright sun at 5 pm. Should be curtains or window shades for better protection. Please, hire a professional designer to improve your decor and atmosphere. We ordered sea bass dish , it was good , crusty a little bit but definitely not worthy $40 small piece of fish with 4 cherry tomatoes in a sauce. Calamari that we had for lunch before were too soupy, ate them with the spoon. Overall its good place to eat.“

“Again 10/10 at Little Chef in McHenry for both food and service ❤️ never a bad item or experience there! Today - based on the owner's recommendation - we started with a cupl of their meat and veggie soup that did not make it on the official menu - sorry missed a photo of it - delish! 😍 Pork, chicken and beef in a savory broth chock full of veggies - carrots, celery, onion 🤤 followed that with the egg salad appetizer, one of our absolute favs 🤩 4 toasted rounds of bread with their excellent egg salad 👍 then we tried the new potato pancakes entree for the first time, which came topped with assorted grilled veggies, plus toast, eggs and hollandaise sauce.. we got the eggs scrambled, rye toast buttered, sauce on the side, and requested a side of sour cream. YUM 😋 ended up with the vanilla cake with vanilla frosting - sorry to miss a photo of that too. Awesome! Service was timely, water glasses attentively refilled, as was the coffee too. $31 Note: it was one order of each item as we always split 🤯 We also got 2 bloody Marys and 2 mimosas, plus a Bailey's, kahlua and amaretto mix to add to our coffee as a nightcap from Old Bridge Tavern next door $48 Left with no leftovers and completely satisfied, happy and full.“

“Tried the new menu item Gyros. Hope they keep it on the menu. They were great. The Tzatziki Sauce which makes a Gyro was perfect with enough cucumbers. We now have a new place to go to for Gyros. Last, I had just about everything on their menu and everything is delicious.“

He took the time to listen to our needs and requests, always responded with a positive attitude, and delivered more than we expected. His creative and delicious food preparations met everyone’s needs and expectations. We honestly couldn’t have picked a better person for the job. “5/26/26 - dinner with friends! I had the Alamo chicken sandwich. Per the menu - marinated, grilled chicken breast with cheddar cheese, Bacon on Texas Toast and Parmesan fries. It sounds really good! When I got it it was cut in half and I noticed that there was a slice of tomato 🍅 melted into the cheese on the chicken breast. But I hate tomatoes and it was a good thing that I am not allergic to them. Had it been on the menu I would have made sure that I didn't order it. Anyways also there was very little BBQ sauce and the chicken breast was dry and tough to chew. Also I ordered Parmesan fries 🍟 and they were just plain fries.
Usually when I am out by myself I definitely would have sent it back. But since I was with friends I didn't want to make them wait any longer.“
