“I’ve seen a lot of good reviews about this spot and they did not disappoint at all. Very good pizza, to be honest some of the best I’ve had in this area. Perfect crust with good texture and bite with an amazing crunch at the end. Fresh toppings and perfectly browned cheese. Got a large sausage and pepperoni with half green pepper and onion and they load it up. The sauce is more of a savory sauce which pairs perfectly with the saltiness of the proteins and sweetness of the veggies. Will absolutely be back for more. 10/10 for me !!!!!“

“Service is still great … but when closed then reopened, the quality of the food is now NOTICEABLY DIFFERENT (worse). Different chef, perhaps? Not sure what I mentioned it because I always order the same thing chicken with black bean and garlic sauce. The last two times I ordered it after they reopened they used dark meat and it was always always always white meat chicken. Also, the sauce is different. Something’s changed, but I’m just not sure what. It’s still my favorite Chinese restaurant in the south suburbs but they can do better. I say that because they’ve been better.“

“The experience was very good. The food was delicious. We ordered the fried okra and green tomatoes appetizers,then we had their Caesar Salad and Fried catfish fillets. Everything was fresh, hot and well seasoned. The service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. I would recommend Dixie Kitchen and Bait Shop as a great place to check out for a good experience and good food.“

“I usually go to the Hammond location but the service there has been terrible lately. So happy we decided to come here instead. Wings actually had sauce on it, unlike what the other location does. The wait wasn't long, had supper friendly service“

“We ordered taco meals that came with your choice of meat. The meals came with rice and refried beans. It was very good. But the young lady that took our order was not friendly nor warm to us. She smiled and was friendly to only Mexican customers. It's sad that we are still experiencing this type of behavior in the 20the century. Business owners should be way more concerned with the value of their service and quality of food. We are spending money just like everyone else. It's the customers that keep business open not a color of skin or culture. I won't be back.“
