“The food and drinks were good, the service was attentive and friendly but let the buyer beware! The waitstaff asked: "Celebrating a birthday?" Let us get you some shots! This happened twice however, all the shots ended up on our bill and it was $56 for four shots! Twice!”

“Had lunch there today and I have to say this is the first time I was disappointed with the service. The food was excellent but that's it. Asked for 2nd drink and never got it. Water was never refilled until we were through eating. When first ordering our wine we had problems. I will continue to eat here and hopefully this is a one time occurrence.”

“Music was very loud in bar. Just a little lower would have made it more pleasant experience. Bar tender was excellent, but she had too many people to serve by herself, the people Sitting at the bar and all the bar tables. They should have 2 people behind bar to wait on tables and bar. It took awhile to be served. Overall really enjoyed time and great place to visit.”

The food is always a hit, the vibe super cozy--especially when it's otherwise freaking cold 9 months out of the year in these parts--and the staff is seasoned and excellent. Also good for takeout and delivery when you don't feel like cooking.”

“Mom and Pop style bakery with a variety of sweet and savory goodies. We tried their cookie assortment, some cheese bagels as well as a Neopolitan and Bee Sting. All were delicious and ver more-ish.

What i also enjoyed was both the service - super efficient and friendly as well as the chatter in the queue between people waiting. It made the time pass faster.

“Really good Chinese food. Not too greasy, or saucy. Made just right. High quality ingredients.
I'm so happy they're in Lincolnwood so I don't have to go all the way to Chinatown or Evanston. I got their traditional potstickers (those are the handmade ones with the thicker outside dough), mooshoo pork (It's like a taco meets peking duck but healthier because it has cabbage and mushrooms and you can wrap it yourself. The beef chow fun was on point and the same is they make at Ming Hing. Fried rice was perfect. I'm sure everything else is really good too. It seems like there's new ownership and the new owners are really nice and organized. She also gave me a complimentary chili oil. Feel very lucky that this place is just a few minutes away and has fresh wok made food!! They also cater!”

“I have come here quite a few times for breakfast and I can tryly say that the folks who run this DD are the best!!! They are super polite, very efficient, and always on time. There have been instances when I was running late and needed to get to work on time. I ordered from the app before I arrived and my food was always ready! They're rarely ever have lines to wait and great service. I highly recommend this place.”

“We were in our way to the airport and decided to get dinner. The service was fast, the person in the front (owner?) was so friendly and personable. The restaurant is really spacious and lovely. The biggest treat was finally eating our meal and it was the best Chinese food I’ve had. So delicious! The portions are very generous and they did not skimp on the shrimp. I highly recommend this place.”

“Ordered the avocado Philly cheese steak and the 10 piece lemon pepper wings. The food was great. That Philly was amazing. Even the wings were good. Perfect season blend with perfect crisp cook. Was suprised based on past reviews but the food was good and the people were polite and accommodating. Food came fairly quickly as well.”
