“Excellent brisket that was perfectly cooked, tender enough to cut with a fork and a mild smoked flavor. Loaded waffle fries that are light, crispy and a heaping canvas for BBQ sauce slathered smoked brisket with a sprinkling of jalapeno peppers. Burnt ends with unending flavor. Baked beans that included chunks of sausage and brisket. Delicious food, generous portions, old school vibe with the blues playing in the background and a staff that aims to please -we have a winner here, folks.“

“After being turned away from eating at Yoko because we had our baby with us, we went to Taboun instead. Taboun truly understands what it means to be a kosher establishment -- it's not just the food! Everyone is always welcomed there with smiles and the best food in the city. We love the kubeh, yemenite soup, and literally everything else on the menu.“

“We had an amazing time with our multigenerational group taking the tour. You learn a lot and make several confections to bring home. I wanted to make note of the young woman who gave us our tour this week on Thursday. She was exceptional! She was very sweet, kind, patient, informative, and just wonderful to spend time with. I’m terrible with names, but please thank her for us. She made a grandma her grandkids and myself very happy today! We will be back.“

“Absolutely amazing!!!! The very best kosher restaurant I’ve ever been to! Kosher fine dining at its finest! My husband and I agree it was the best meal we’ve ever had. He had the surprise steak which was phenomenal! I had the short ribs which were perfection! We enjoyed soups, appetizers, sushi, the works. Just when we thought we were full to the brim and could not squeeze one more but in, I couldn’t resist the dessert menu. Somehow we practically managed to lick the plate of peanut butter mousse clean! It was the most wonderful evening! The ambience is wonderful! The service is superior to any other place I’ve been to. I can’t recommend this place enough!“
