“I was skeptical to order from here, based on reading all of the poor reviews. Our food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the pork egg rolls, beef teriyaki sticks, chicken egg fu young, and chicken with cashews. The pork egg roll took me back to my childhood, when I had Chinese food with my grandparents in Chicago. The secret is the peanut butter-and they are so good! Our food was fresh and hot and we had plenty of left overs!”

Let’s start with the positives: the recent remodeling is a huge plus. The place looks fantastic! The kitchen, counters, and displays are all new and spotless, which gives it a very welcoming and organized feel. As expected from any Dunkin’ location, the donuts are great—classic, reliable, and always a treat.

However, the same cannot be said for their sandwiches. I recently ordered one that included hashbrowns, and it was a disappointment. The hashbrowns were soggy and dripping with oil, which made the sandwich unappetizing. A little more care in food preparation would go a long way.

The drive-thru experience is where things fall short. While efficiency is important, customer service is too. Unfortunately, the drive-thru staff, particularly a young, blonde girl, seems uninterested in even basic politeness. She doesn’t greet customers or respond to greetings, giving off the impression that she’s always in a bad mood. This lack of interaction feels cold and unwelcoming. As a result, I’ve started ordering inside at the counter, where the service is slightly better.

Overall, the Dunkin’ on Sand Lake Rd. has a lot going for it in terms of appearance and food quality (aside from the hashbrowns), but the staff could really use a refresher on customer service skills to make the experience as great as the newly remodeled space suggests it could be”

“If you come to Chicago, you need to find yiur way to Big Eds at 651 Lakehurst in Waukegan!!! This place stands on it's own 2 feet side by side with anyplace we've been in Fort Worth! Excellent brisket and pulled pork, and some of the best mashed potatoes and mac and cheese I've had outside of my own house!! Good stuff!”

For those in offices, Taco Pros offers excellent catering options with trays that are perfect for any meeting or office event. My kids and I are regulars here, coming in at least twice a week. It’s easy to see why they’ve grown so rapidly in the past five years, opening multiple locations. Taco Pros really nails it with their combination of good food, great prices, and a comfortable atmosphere.

Kid-friendliness: Ask for their 1 Taco kids meal, FF or rice and beans. It's great for kids 10 and younger.”
