“I had had a day and decided to stop into this bar to have a drink under some sun. Wasn’t sure what exactly I wanted and told the bartender Hannah to give me something fruity. She said I got you and made me an absolutely delicious vodka with other mixes drink. It was exactly what I needed. The drink was just as refreshing as being able to walk into a place distraught and be immediately met with comfort and a kind engaging personality. She definitely makes this bar what it is and I will be returning on her next shift.“

“We stopped at Pierce Tavern for lunch and had a great experience! The service was great throughout our visit and the wait staff were very attentive and friendly. A gentleman even came around with a beer tasting! The food was all delicious, we tried the cauliflower bites app, salad with goat cheese and brisket grilled cheese. Everything was so good! They have a large selection of cocktails, all which sound delicious, and a very extensive menu. It’s a fun place to stop at for drinks, dinner or lunch. We were very happy with our experience! My last time in with a friend I tried a Burger. I highly recommend The Burgatory. Goat cheese on a burger- Who knew? It's drool-worthy. The other new addition I'm obsessed with is the Fried Pickles and Cheese curds appetizer. Why has no one else thought to combine these two before? And their homemade pie is unbeatable! “I had to get five stars because they’re the only restaurant that carries pure olive oil, even though there’s an Italian restaurant a half a block away. Disgusting. Most of the restaurants in Hinsdale used disgusting ingredients and then charge you as much as they possibly can ‼️‼️‼️?The only restaurant in town that actually has pure olive oil! “I didn't read the reviews beforehand, probably wouldn't have tried it. We walked in, the A/C was out so we decided to eat outside (also because the place had that carpet soaked whiskey aroma). There was only another couple in the place too. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and paired it with a Dos Equis. I started to read the reviews and then got nervous with all the 1 stars. The sandwich arrived and all the bad reviews went out the window. This was a really good Cuban! No deli sliced ham, it was a good chunk of ham in a delicious well pressed bread. The fries were cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and light and fluffy inside. 5 stars for the food, 3 stars for the atmosphere.“

I look much younger for my age, so the bar owner was understandably cautious when i presented my ID. Once he realized i am the age i do not look. While the menu is not very large I asked if they had lengua, they did not. But the bartender offered a dish that was made for the staff, she called it Trumpbo? Translates to mouth of pig? Im sure im butchering this.. but my GOD.. it was some of the most delicious tender pork I have ever had. Not gamey/barnyard at all. Prepared just excellent.. can't describe it well enough do it justice. Their chef is a master.. if your lucky enough ask for it next time your in, they dont have it all the time but hopefully you can get lucky and enjoy what the cook/staff enjoy.. i felt very fortunate to be able to enjoy this treat from the kitchen.
