“Ok Ok this place has to be under new ownership or something because I've seen a drastic change in the service and everyone's attitude .The morning manager looked to be understaffed and she was still getting customers in and out while still managing to keep a smile.I was very pleased with my food I ordered sirracha chicken dippers they were hot and fresh my son had to use the restroom which was clean as well 10/10 definitely will be returning

“Well, if they cook your food properly, it's not bad... however, if they don't and you need to send it back to cook it (not a fan of raw burgers 🤷‍♀️) and it comes back the same way... be prepared to not eat and pay for the meal anyway. I asked for it to be removed from our bill (over $100 total so not just a couple things) and they removed it after a small "fight" but literally charged us for a basket of fries cuz I ate a few fries off my plate, I guess. they don't take care of their mistakes nor do they care to make things right. After a very disappointing experience earlier that evening at Good Life Soul Food Cafe (11226 S Halsted St, Chicago, IL 60628), coming here was a complete turnaround and exactly what we needed.
The food at Maya’s is always cooked to order, hot, fresh, and delicious. I consistently order the chicken wings and French fries, and they are excellent every single time—crispy, flavorful, and served hot. Prices are fair, portions are solid, and there’s never any hassle.
What really sets this place apart is the customer service. The owner is kind, professional, and welcoming, and you can tell pride is taken in both the food and how customers are treated. That combination matters.
This experience reminded me why I continue to support Maya’s and why I won’t make that earlier mistake again. If you’re looking for great fried chicken, fresh food, and excellent service, this is the spot. And now they also serve mild sauce, barbecue sauce and hot sauce. All are delicious 😋

I was skeptical to this order here because it was a new restaurant from Uber eats so I decided to go in and let me tell you the wings were so fresh and delicious. It did not disappoint. They had very good crinkle cut french fries which in my opinion is perfect. Only thing is I I wanted mild sauce with my chicken and they serve barbecue sauce which was pretty good but at the same time it is not mild sauce. Can I say anything bad about the fried Chicken wings? They were great. I highly recommend this place for chicken wings over sharks or JJ fish okay and chicken or any other chicken neighborhood spots much better than Popeyes. The service was great. I am learning now. Some of the best fast food can be found at the gas station. This one gets my boat of approval.“

“This bar is a very nice GEM that has a great decor. The beers are ice cold and the drinks very refreshing. Taco Tuesdays are very tasty and the catfish dinner is Awesome. This is a very friendly bar with colorful characters. Watch the game from any seat or select a song from touch tunes and dance your cares away. Try you luck on the gaming machines or just have a couple of drinks with your buds.

“I think the apple barbecue boneless wings taste DELICIOUS. That sweetness & seasoning they have on them pair very well with the coolness & slight saltiness of blue cheese and ranch dressings. Really balanced taste compilation. I do think they need to pay more attention to the smaller details like the instructions. I've eaten hear about six or seven times, and I would say four out of those times, I was missing something that I paid extra for. The curly fries taste really good as well. I love me a good curly fry. Most restaurants don't have them except Arby's or something. The curly fries here are top notch. The wing flavors I recommend are the apple barbecue (mild & sweet), spicy pineapple teriyaki (medium, Hawaiian taste), and the honey Sriracha (medium spice) flavors. Will definitely be ordering and visiting again.“
