“This place was lit! A very diverse group of customers, which was nice. The rice is moist, refried beans have a little heat to them which I really enjoyed, salsa was very good i wish we got a little more 😋. The elotes I wish was thicker and I thought the price was a bit higher than average. There was a DJ that setup and was playing some early 2000s music which his setup was clean, music was clear using Mackie, levels were adjusted on point.“

“If you are ever looking for some of the BEST TACOS in the South Suburbs-Harvey to be EXACT.. you have to stop at Al Vapor Taqueria. These are the best Steak tacos...Everything is cooked fresh. “I don't know if it's the lack of good Mexican food in Hawaii, but this place was fantastic! It definitely hit the spot. I wouldn't think that Chicago has good Mexican food, being pretty far from Mexico, but it really does. Shows what I know. We got a total of four burritos, three tacos, two chips and salsa, and pico de gallo, and four large horchata. I'm pretty sure there is something that I left out but all of that only cost me $70. That was a fantastic deal. We called the head to order most of these items and when I got there I couldn't help but ordered a few more things. There were also specials of the day. I wish I'd seen that before ordering more stuff but either way it was worth it. Hopefully I get a chance to come back before I have to go back to Hawaii.

“We pass this place plenty of times, when we went for tacos around the corner of it. Decided to stop in to give it a try. This is our new taco place! Steak, Pastor, Cecina and chorizo tacos are delicious! Carnitas they sometimes have on Sunday are the bomb. Pozole is delicious. Can't forget the nachos w/steak louded, couldn't wait until I got home, munched on them the whole way home.“

“This place has amazing tacos de carnitas !!!! The meat was so tender and juicy. No fat on the tacos I had. It’s a 20 min drive from my house in Gary but man it’s worth the drive. I highly recommend. I had 2 tacos de carnitas 1 asada 1 apastor and 1 large agua de Jamaica. Total was $18“

“Man these Tacos and Tortas are the best. Every time I am in the South suburbs I come here to grab some. They are cash only so come with cash. The guy's been working here forever. They just recently repainted and remodeled just a little bit. The food is the same from years ago when I was coming here. I'm glad they're back open“
