I ordered the skirt steak tacos which are topped with beans , cheese and salsa. I also ordered the al pastor and man im glad the quality haven't changed , the workers here are also friendly, I highly recommend anyone to give this place a try.“

“Absolutely incredible! From the moment the food hit the table, everything looked fresh and packed with flavor. The burrito was stuffed with perfectly seasoned meat, fresh pico de gallo, beans, rice, and all the right toppings—every bite was delicious. The chips were warm, crispy, and paired perfectly with the creamy queso, fresh salsa, and homemade guacamole. You can tell everything is made with quality ingredients.

And the margarita? Easily one of the best I’ve had! Perfectly chilled, refreshing, with just the right balance of citrus and tequila—not too sweet and incredibly smooth. It was the perfect complement to the meal.

“Best Al pastor and quesadilla in recent memory. Burrito had generous quantity of meat. I had ordered the Quesadilla with steak added. It was served open-faced, with a layer of cheese that was delightfully crispy on the outside and gooey underneath (like you normally only get on the edges) and the steak was on top of the cheese with cilantro, onion, and avo. Friendly staff shared meat treats with our pup. Two tables, shade, and front row seats to the meat roasting on a spit over hot coals. Will crave this until we visit again!!“

One small thing that could be improved is clearer signage. There wasn’t anything indicating that you can seat yourself, so I assumed I needed to order at the counter and wait for a number 🤔 Turns out I was completely wrong, and for a moment I thought I was about to get scolded 😅 The lady at the counter helped fix my order and guided me, and then I was able to sit down.

Their meat is flavorful, their micheladas are bomb, and the quesabirria tacos are delicious. The food is well priced & the owners/chefs even made my golden retriever a plain carne asada taco and gave her a water bowl. 10/10“

“Stopped by for dinner and got two asada tacos, two al pastor, and a taco volcan with a scoop of each salsa. The meat was juicy and full of flavor, and you can tell they grill it fresh. The tortillas were warm and soft, with two layers so they held everything together. Both salsas were good, but I especially liked the green one. It had a nice kick without being too much.
The people working there were really friendly. No fancy setup, just a food truck focused on good food. Portions are generous, and the prices are pretty fair for what you get.“

“I’ve been driving past Taco Boom Truck for what feels like forever, always catching a whiff of grilled meat or seeing a small line of people and thinking, “One day I’ll stop.” Well, I finally did, and man, I should’ve done it way sooner.

It’s a simple setup, parked off the road, colorful, and always smelling amazing. People were hanging out, eating, and the service was quick and friendly. The guy at the window even gave me some salsa tips when I told him it was my first time.

I went with two carne asada tacos. No exaggeration, the meat was so tender and juicy, with this really nice char on the edges. You could taste the seasoning in every bite, nothing overpowering, just that good mix of garlic, citrus, and smoky flavor. The tortillas were warm, soft but sturdy enough to hold everything together (no taco explosions, which is always a win).

The green salsa? Wild. It started off kind of mild, then hit with this spicy, peppery kick that crept up in the best way. It had some creamy avocado vibes too, which made it super addictive. Honestly, I kept dipping even after I ran out of taco.

The chucks of carnitas need to be smaller, they were way too big for tacos. The quality of food though was consistently just as good as their other locations. “A while back I heard of an employee that used to work at Atotonilco start a new spot called Esparza’s so I had to try it. I’ve been going to Atotonilco since the 90’s. Love that place. I’m a bit of a snob about it.

At that time I thought the food was ok. The seasoning was slightly different and the Al Pastor had a more tangy flavor. Not bad but not Atotonilco.

Yesterday we went back because Zacatacos service was so awful. My usual order of 2 steak tacos lettuce and tomato (only place I do that in as I usually prefer cilantro and onion) and 1 Al pastor with cilantro, onion and that salsa.

I have to say I’m super impressed. Not sure what you guys did but the Al pastor is much closer to Atotonilco. It tastes different than last time on a very good way. The meats of course are outstanding. Big chunks of skirt steak very well seasoned. Al pastor cut in perfect thickness.

These aren’t LA street tacos where you have to eat 10 of them. These are packed. They use Atotonilco tortillas which have a nice flavor.

Only issue I had on the trip was our server kind of forgot about us and we waited a while to order the 2 tacos someone wanted back at home. That happens I get it.

Whatever changes you’ve made great job! I will be coming back. Would recommend 10/10.“

During the event, their energy was great they were not only professional but also fun to be around, which really added to the overall atmosphere of the celebration 🎈✨.

Everything went smoothly thanks to their support, and they made sure we felt comfortable and taken care of the whole time 🙌. It’s not always easy to find people who are both organized and genuinely enjoyable to work with, but they definitely delivered on both.

Decided to order tacos and they were absolutely delicious. We had the carne asada and it was so flavorful.
