We started with the Cajun Nachos, which were tortilla chips smothered with red beans, a few jalapenos and an occasional slice of kielbasa sausage. Our meals were a plate of red beans and rice, Crawfish Etouffee, Shrimp Etouffee, Catfish Po’boy, a cup of Jambalaya and the Broussard’s Chicken Breast and fries. We had a good sampling of their menu! Most everything was good.
However, I would not recommend the Broussard’s Chicken Breast. It is a grilled chicken breast heavily seasoned a with house spice blend. It was overloaded with filѐ seasoning. It comes with a sauce that helped tone down the overpowering flavor of the filé powder. Stick with the blackened Chicken.
It is an attractively decorated restaurant and bar. The service is average.”

“Stumbled upon this hidden gem while walking and exploring Downtown Cape Girardeau. Amazing display of music including cassettes, vinyl records, and cd's. Their record wall was astonishing and the atmosphere is very inviting. Drinks were well worth their price and the owner was super friendly and social. Will definitely be visiting again and highly recommend for anyone to try out. We had shots, coke/whiskey, and a Nudie Suit (Scientist Dub Mix) which included 6mg of THC”

“This place has amazing ice cream and the service was absolutely great both times we were there . Also My husband was very excited they had Superman ice cream (not many places outside of Michigan have it surprisingly).Our kids also love the flavors they got and they have a very nice selection of flavors as well. This ice cream shop is also very clean which is awesome as well. Would recommend stopping in and getting ice cream from here.”

“Joe and I tried La Luna for the first time and loved it. The “Choice of 5” tacos let us sample different flavors (birria was our favorite), and the steak Enchiladas Pacíficas were tasty and freshly made. We kept going back for more queso, and the margaritas were spot-on. Everyone who helped us was friendly and checked on us often. We’ll be back soon.”

“Food was great, we didn’t realize the restaurant was in the casino, it’s our first time visiting the area. But it was way to get to, just have to walk into the casino and deal with some cigarette smoke. But we were very happy with our meal. Some reasonably priced stuff as well as some expensive stuff, so a good balance. What you’d expect with a casino restaurant. It was dark so we didn’t really have a view of the Mississippi, but during the day the view would probably be nice.”

“Wonderful little gem in cape! We went and checked out simply swirled and it was such a pleasant experience. The store was super clean, and they had a lot of choices for toppings and flavors. The employee was very nice and attentive. We got several sample cups and tried some of the flavors. We ended up choosing cereal milk (pictured below), birthday cake, cake batter and cookies and cream. The cereal milk (cotton candy and vanilla mix) was our favorite! For 5 cups of froyo and 3 of them had toppings it came out to $16. We will absolutely be going back and trying new flavors as they come. Highly recommend checking them out! You won’t be disappointed!”
