“This place is unreal -- especially for someone gluten free. I went in knowing zero about Burmese cuisine, but was walked through a series of dishes that have become instant classics that I crave: tofu gyaw, the tea salad, kyarzan thoke, chicken mango, and the goat curry. Do not sleep on this place! The food is fresh and meticulously prepared. The flavors are incredible and the portions filling. The staff are warm and engaging. 10/10 across the board.”

“Best ice cream ever!!!! I am an ice cream snob when I’m on vacation. I have to have it every day and I walked miles to that ice cream parlor this week the owner and the boy Jake that worked there was such awesome people too. I will definitely be back. I went tonight because I’m leaving in the morning sorted caramel chunk.!!!! you will not be disappointed”

“Absolutely incredible service! every single person has a smile and loves what they do. Their food is next level plus some! Their rotation of tasty desserts is to die for!”

“BEST Italian food in Illinois, this place is absolutely amazing. We got the poblano soup and the rigatoni alla traverstin and it was the best pasta and soup I have ever had. I requested it to be spicy, and they made it exactly how I wanted it, it was wonderful! My husband ordered his without the spice and it was just as amazing. Also, it is very refreshing to have a restaurant where all of the waiter and waitresses have conversations with the guests, it was so great to see. We had Susanna and her sister and they were so sweet to us. They all are so hospitable and genuinely great people. We have tried many many Italian restaurants in the area, and this is by far the best one and a must try.”

The samosas were high quality and filled to perfection, the naan was the perfect compliment to the entree, and the butter chicken was so flavorful. You can also adjust spice level on other dishes. Definitely coming back again!”

“Delicious! I always stop by whenever I’m in town.”

“So far I’ve eaten at Vasco’s twice with my coworker. The food is delicious. It is perfectly spiced, chicken is cooked to perfection and not dry. The garlic sauce is very tasty. It is very clean. The people working there are extremely nice and helpful. My coworker doesn’t know much about Indian food so she had a lot of questions. They were patient and answered all of the. The owner came to our table both times we were there to ask how things were. It is a place that you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. We are already planning our next visit.”

“We had Brittany serving our table of 5. They went above and beyond for our bachlorette party. Small Details made a huge difference. Bride had a white napkin when the maids had black. Hearts on the table. Free glass of their Dole and dessert. And when we asked for recommendations on where to go after dinner, the whole service team put together a list for us. Brittany was our waitress and she was so kind and friendly. Excellent service from her. Had multiple other workers coming to congratulate the bride. Food was very very good. Appetizer was even plated for us at the table.”

Incredible Lemon Chicken with delicious veggies. Yummy Baklava fresh crunchy. Would definitely make the drive out of my way to come back again.”
