“Hubby and I were hungry and decided to order from the #2 location which is in Richton Park, IL. You definitely get your money's worth and then some in the amount of food they give you. We got the oxtail dinner and it was delicious. The sides were cabbage greens and plantains. Comes also with rice and beans. Cabbage was okay and the rice was plentiful.
About a week later, we decided to order from #2 again but for some reason, they weren't taking orders at that particular time so we ordered from this location, #4. I must say, this location is closer and we enjoyed the food more. The cabbage greens tasted so much better and they add a delicious sauce on top of the rice & beans which adds a great flavor so we will be ordering from this #4 location from now on.
Highly recommend the oxtail dinner, the butter chicken dinner and their meaty rib tips are the BOMB!! The pictures show it all and how much food they give.

“This is the very 1st Jerk restaurant where EVERYTHING was good and fresh. I had oxtails, jerk chicken, cabbage, Mac and Cheese, yams, peas and rice, and plantain. My Ma had a full dark jerk chicken dinner as well. The Mac and cheese was seasoned to perfection and cheesy as ever (no egg; baked). The yams not overly sweet, jerk chicken just right. The cabbage is consistently good. Only disappointment was the size oxtail they give is small. (4 little pieces and 2 big. Thats everywhere though) EVERYTHING was hot, and did I say fresh?? glad it's right around my Mas house. I'll be eating here much more often!!“

“Ate here tonight and the food was wonderful. We had jerk turkey tips, jerk salmon and shrimp, yam, greens, cabbage, Mac and cheese and fried rice. Everything was tasty, hot, freshly made and spicy. The ladies were super friendly, helpful and provided great service. We will definitely be back to try other items. Ask about the specials that aren’t in the regular menu. Yum!“

“I’m bias because this is my neighborhood jerk but to be fair all my jerk dinners have been on point. Rice and peas are a solid base and the spice of the sauce is the best compliment. Even the mac is even decent. Don’t have to trust me - Not like I’ve ever gone anywhere.“

“I love jerk palace I eat at this location everytime I visit Chicago. My father passed away so i decided to book them for catering for his repast services yesterday. I REGRET THAT SO MUCH I spent $1,090 THE CATERING FOOD WAS TERRRIBLE all of the chicken was burnt, rice wasn’t fully cooked and mac was super soupy… So that being said the food is good for a take out order but do not book them for catering they can’t handle it…. I even went in to complain in person n I was just told sorry while spending $118 more dollars on single meals. But I own a food business in mn and in this situation some kind of resolution should have been made a credit or something. That was nasty work!“

“Ok so I want to preface this by saying, this would’ve been a 5 star review HAD my rice not been crunchy and weird in chunks. Otherwise that food was absolutely divine. The service was awesome and other than the rice, I can tell that they put lots of love and time into their food but they should really consider updating the ambiance of the restaurant. Doesn’t make you want to sit and eat unfortunately. What they might fail to realize, is that if someone sits to eat there, they order more. They will almost ALWAYS get drinks and possibly dessert. They will get their investment back. Food for thought. The curried goat was honestly the best I’ve ever had. Awesome and hot beef Patties, flavorful and juicy chicken. No issues…but that damn rice! Lol“

“Best Jerk Chicken I've had, the food is beyond amazing and delicious and their customer service is excellent. Someone greets you when you come in to order or pick up your food. Everything from the Jerk chicken , Jerk chicken Alfredo and all the side dishes are delicious. “We got the chicken dinners and the chicken Alfredo. Everything was delicious and I am going back again. Even tho they gave us the wrong order when we picked up our food, they let us keep the other food. We were only blocks away and people make mistakes. The OX tail was delish and the mac n cheese was addicting. Highly recommend for something new. If your sick of the same old thing you gotta check this place out!!“

“I must say the oxtail were really really good and the rice me beans. Their service and care for their customers are top tier. I had a driver from Grubhub steal my order and the restaurant, not sure if it was the owner or not but whoever I spoke to over the phone, brought me my order since I was only 8 min away. He remade my order and bring it at closing. I really appreciated this beyond words because I’m pregnant and can’t keep much down. I love them for the food and service So caring and accommodating.
