“Server forgot to place our order with the kitchen. After telling us our meal would be out in a couple of minutes he re-took our order. The meal was not expedited so it took a total of 50 minutes for two entrees to come out of the kitchen. We should have had clear communication after we repeated our order for so we could relax while we waited. Food was good, and dessert was free.“

“We tried Grounded Ciffee in Frankfort based on a recommendation of a friend. It is located in Downtown Frankfort near other restaurants that we frequent but we never noticed the place. It is in an old building that has been decorated in the customer area. The kitchen and prep areas seem to be pretty old school. Lots of seating inside and a ton of seating outside.They are lacking a big easily readable menu sign. There is a smaller one that you can see to your left when you become the second person in line. Staff was very nice. There were 2 employees on a Monday morning around 9 am. The pizza bagel was very delicious and was freshly prepared. The coffee was ok about par with most places. There was a steady flow of customers, mostly locals, that were ordering. We sat outside and enjoyed a 70 degree morning with a light breeze. If you live in the area or are in the area I would suggest giving it a try. They do have a menu online and small mini menus printed on small sheets of paper by the condiment station. Menu is very limited but sufficient for what it is. Be weary of a large step up and down at the doorway. This would be difficult to impossible for folks in wheelchairs and possibly walkers unless there is another entrance I am not aware of.“

The lunch size portion was sufficient and a biggie with me was they not overindulged with salt as is typical at many establishments. Looks like we will be stocking up the freezer.“

The gentleman who took my original inquiry was pleasant, helpful and explained everything in detail. “I frequently visit this location. The food is always out fast, hot, and delicious. The workers are friendly, and even when they make a mistake, they fix it quickly. I stopped in today with my spouse and I ordered the pesto cavatappi with parmesan crusted chicken. My spouse got the new baked tortellini. Both were delicious. They forgot both of our rice crispies, but they quickly rectified the issue.“
